Hey King I like how you structured the first part of your reply.Peace,Love and Unity.Those were the days.Me and Mrs old buzzard love to grow house plants,our deck is covered in various flowers in summer,we just have a good time and enjoy it.its not about who spent the most money or the latest and greatest most recent data,only enjoying our self's at this point of life.enjoying smoking something we grew that nature provided.Just a hell of a lot of fun.I am not the best grower but not bad either.I will smoke with someone regardless of what lights they used to grow with.This whole argument will never be settled.Here is how I approach every grow I do and most of my weed is given away to friends and family. 1) I am not the brightest bulb in the batch 2) if something can go wrong it likely will.believe it or not this helps me greatly.So I throw all the trolling B.S. away and keep it as simple as possible.Your right many on here want to impress others with their superior intellect,mostly just repeated info they were sold on by someone.I think the real grower are the ones who just do it because they don't know how not to.and are only repeating what their results were for others. if it helps fine if not, then fine also.It took so long to get weed legal in the few places it is now,something us old timers thought could only dream of.In MI. for so long you get caught with a couple joints you go to jail for 20 years Murder only 7 years.Now there is a new generation who only want to argue with everyone.and throw insults at the pioneers who risked everything for them to get where it is today.If there not careful they will become their own worst enemy and we will loose everything we have gained.we need to pick our fights careful.and just because someone told you led is the best then use it, but they need to stop calling everyone stupid who do not.I will take years of experience over something new every time.time will prove many things wrong.also show results.somethings can not be proven overnight.I commend those who choose to try something new they will help advance our hobby,unfortunately it has become about marketing and money like everything else.If anyone wants to use the new leds go for it I hope it works great for you.but stop telling me and others on here your the only one right when many of you just got started growing yesterday.anyway after all the ramble peace,love and unity back at you brother.Weed is meant to be more peace love and unity, look at these led tools trolling so hard it creates arguments, sad as fuck reqlky

Great post, your outlook is similar to my own. I've not yet grown indoors but I recently spent so I can, I grew outdoors in the 70's and 80's.....after a friend got popped I gave up on that idea. I haven't grown in many yrs. NY goes legal this spring so I've convinced the wife I'll wait, and not put our house and property at risk.

Except nobody was or is really arguing.Arguing over lighting types reminds me of Nvidia vs ATI, yrs ago on pc tech forums. Gpu vs gpu, HPS vs LED vs CMH wars.....
A lot of people specify or imply that what they are saying is an opinion, subjective, that type of opinion can be contemplated or ignored at the other persons discretion. You on the other hand very often state or imply objective fact to your points, even those aimed at other peoples climates/techs that you personally have 0 experience with. That then puts you in the corner to come up with supported links or even personal photos. For example, we can all objectively agree that plants grown with hps do better than plants being grown (or rather attempted) with a blow torch. However, if somebody said they were objectively getting better results with a blowtorch then what curious mind would not ask for pics?.Is this like the part where unless someone shows pics you start trolling them off again with your led claims...

Ya know, one of my rooms has been running on the cooler side since the arctic plunge....maybe run it on a cycle timer, for side lighting?
Really so the claim you made of led being a week quicker than hid and the only reason you see fit after 30 years to even run hid is in winter dosent stack up to that hmmm...
