Perm's Perpetually Peeping Pistil & Plant Parade

I'm on day 36 now. I was going to go 60 days. We'll see how big they get, I might have to flip before. Once they perk up from the transplant I'll start topping them. I was going to go au naturale and not do any training or topping, so I could pick a mother, but that's not going to happen. I am holding a clone back of each until after smoke.
I've only got 2 grows on this 1000w DE. I'm learning in flower it kind of puts off a lot of light. I think I can let these get bigger than normal before flip and still have great light penetration. I'll have to do some training.
My last tent run was pretty good. The Cream Cheese CBD and the Black Sugar were massive. I only vegged that last run for 30 days. I know I could have pulled a lot more out of it, but I was running out of smoke, and didn't want to be out for a month.

What have you got lined up next?
What do you think of indoors?
Nice. Can't wait to see how they look with some more veg time.

Not sure what I'll be doing next. I have a bit of a seed buying problem, so lots of choices...which isn't a bad thing. :bigjoint: I was thinking of doing a pack of Archive Casper OG, look for a nice pheno or two, I have some Cannarado gear I'd like to have a go at....I'd like to set up a sog with smaller clones and pack a bunch in for flower, see which are my keepers and go from there. I had wanted to do all clones outdoors if I have the time, cutting it close at this point.

Indoors is different, but I like it. Temperature and humidity management has been a challenge, but I've managed ok and I think it will only get better from here. I have a lot of room for improvement, but I didn't botch the whole thing or make any huge mistakes. I'd definitely like to keep doing indoor...at least one run before summer hits.

Me, too. This is the first time in my life I have been able to grow with a ceiling height above 4ft. So this is new territory for me.
I like that you have gear that I don't, are you going to post your outdoor stuff, too? You should totally do another indoor run!

Good for you, height restriction is a pain in the butt.

I'll be posting my outdoor run. I want to start a grow journal for my next go, easier to keep track of things that way, and I'll likely put my outdoor in that also.

Right now I have a 600w DE MH in here with a 1000w ballast turned down to 600w.
I'm thinking of swapping my veg tent ballast which is the same ballast just a 600w with this one so that I can run it cranked up to 110% in this tent.

My ballasts are adjustable:

1000w digital:
600w
750w
1000w
1100w

600w digital:
250w
400w
600w
660w

I don't like dimming bulbs, so I got different bulbs for different wattage (just 600 & 1000). I really don't like over powering them either come to think of it....

Love the drip system,

what size reservoir are you using? how many times per day/how much feed re they being given?

I am in the process of buying everything i need to switch to coco and automated drip.

Thanks diggs.
I use a 27 gallon HDX tote I fill it up about every 3 days, but I only add (2) 5 gallon buckets at a time. Link
I have it set to come on for 1 minute every other hour while the lights are on except for the last two hours. As they grow up and feed more I'll turn on more hours. In flower I was running 1 minute every hour while lights on.
They go to runoff. once the pan is dry it starts over.
Here is a thread where I talk about it more: Link
I did a lot of messing around with it, but I'm liking these schedules the best. I actually have an app on my phone to all of the timers I have, so it's simple to make changes.

Let me know when you get set up, or if you need help.

Yes i will for sure be asking you a few questions. As i basically plan to run the same as you, coco medium on a drip system.

Love the app control, seems practical and very convenient.

Im gonna hit that link you shared, have a look in that thread. Do you happen to have a link to your timer/control box? or is that stuff in that thread too?

Regardless, thanks alot BP

I have 10 of these. I think I got a 10 pack, I use them for everything. I used them for the christmas lights and tree last year, lol. But I have at least 6 in my room right now. I don't use them all as timers, some I use as an on off switch, like for my sip pump to add water. They are instantaneous. As soon as I touch the screen the pump turns on or off.
They come with other settings, too. Like sunrise and sunset settings. I had my outside christmas lights set to come on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. The app links into weather, so it knows your sunset times and outside temp and stuff. Kind of like a Nest in that way.
They work with Alexa and Google Home, too. I have google home.

Update on my sip. I'm going to run this in the comp. Just haven't decided on what is going in it yet...

I mixed in hay to the top few inches of soil. About 3 hand full's, this is one hand full. Then, covered it.

I also decided to go with my add a gallon bucket top for this. I foil taped the inside of them.

I cut up a thick construction bag and put it under the bucket top.

I'm going to cut an X slit in the center for the plant, and might poke holes around the top of the plastic for better ventilation.

Here is a sneak peek at my tent for the comp.

I topped them 2 days ago. I put the poinsettias in here so that I wouldn't have to run another light for them. The Zkittlez are in red cups here, too.

The Ditch Weed is almost done.
I got 1.75lbs. out of the bloom tent dry, not impressive at all. I was running out of smoke so only vegged for 30 days for a quicker harvest.
The Sky Lotus is on day 45. I'm taking it to 60, then flipping. It's going to be a jungle to train, I'm shooting for 3lbs.
The Zkittlez are doing good, they will be going into 2 gal soil bags soon.
The MILS's (Mother I'd Like to Smoke) <---New name for them, are doing their thing just chillin'. They get their hair did about once a week.

-I'm going on a hiatus for a while. My tank for stupidity is full and for fear of contracting this all too common disease, I'm going to take a break and let the tank evaporate.
Take care.

Turns out the tank had a drain on it the whole time! The ignore button. I've always had to just go to 10% run-off in the past. It's almost like a new forum now, lol. (and I couldn't go far anyway because of the competition)

Coco/Perlite 3:1 on the left
Soil on the right

I started cutting them back and then realized it had been awhile since I did an update on them. I cut them way back. I'm not going to need any clones for a while. I'm thinking of making a bloom box soon I can use to start selfing these and crossing.

I kind of forgot about them and they went a little dry.

Update on my sip.
I asked some knowledgeable growers about what to put on top, and went with organic oats ground up and sprinkled on the top with a light misting. It got the party started quick.
