Yeah I agree with you. I am not religious and do not practice any religion. but I can’t think of a nicer religious icon than the smiling well fed Buddha. Worshipping a dead guy hanging from a cross with nails through his hands is feet is so bloody depressing. Total ferry tale shit right there. It does amaze me how people believe that stuff. My parents tried to shove that shit down my throat growing up by I did not believe any of it and was so disgusted by the entire outlandish cult practices and what a fucking bore. There is no way anyone is brainwashing me into believing any religion. I do a lot of meditation and it seems to lean toward Buddhist but some of the deeper Buddhist stuff is a little out of touch with reality and I can’t get into it. Mindfulness and breathing techniques are nice and all in all it’s a much more positive self awareness and helps with relaxation.
Trump is an asshole and there is something mighty fishy about his dealings with Netanyahu. Out of all the countries is the world it seems to me he has this over the top enthusiasm about Israel. It’s a small country, I don’t get it.

There's something fishy about everything he does. His sleaziness is inescapable. Those who engage him on the same level are up to the same shit. Honorable people don't act the way he does or say the things he says. It indicates there's more to it than what we are aware of.

He's playing to the Evangelicals who believe the Jews must rule Israel in order for the Rapture to occur, plus he playing the game for the rich Jews in the US (Sheldon Adelson for one) that donated millions of $ to his campaign to make sure he supports Israel.
It really is simple, plus Trump has an affinity for scumbags.

I’m surprised that you took that as a defence of Christianity rather than a criticism of both religions. The difference in Islam is that every word in the Quran is devine revelation, the actual word of God as revealed by the angel Gabriel, interpretation of the text as allegorical is Haram.

I've heard other Christians say the Bible is the Word of God and they take it quite literally except as with all religions people pick and choose what to follow. I don't think religion has anything to do with what Israel is doing to the Paliestinians and vice-versa. It's all about power, who has it and who does not. In the case of Israeli's fascists, they are abusing their power.

The blockade on Gaza is a crime against humanity and must be lifted. Israel must remove its settlements. I don't see any religious justification for either.
