Femal Vs. Male Growers

IF AND IF a women knows how to grow then odds are that they will probbably be better then there male counterpart....

This is a fact!

Why do you think kids do better generally in life when they are raised by a single mother instead of a single father?

Same for plants..

I would gladly pay some female to grow my plants cause in all honesty they would probbably yeild more...

Idk how some mythical power or something lol.
that is rather because the mother gets in 98% of all divorces today the child's custody and has nothing to do with male ability to raise a healthy child, i know a few single dads who do better on the job then most single mothers i have seen;)

in general, if someone is devoted to the job and not plain dumb as a piece of bread he or she can achieve great, plain fact:)

men make chicks think it's harder then it is. thereby keeping them out of the garden. if they did learn how to grow they would be better than all of us.
I make everything seem harder than it is... I go out to work and i always make out I had a really hard day just so i get pampered.

Come off it fdd'. How can you say one sex would be better than the other. If we're honest we would be fairly equal. Although men are naturally more competitive...

I've tried to get my gf involved in my garden, but she's not stupid... that's one job I HAVE to do myself.

It is.

However, I know I amuse myself too much picking on stone-age testosterone addicts who drag their testicles around in the underbrush.

DO excuse my indulgence. ;)
It depends on the type of woman you go for. I'm not very domesticated, but what I am is honest. I've told my gf that she has her jobs and I have mine. There's certain things that I can do and there's certain things she can do, that's just the way it is. If she wants to moan and complain about it she can try and find somebody better, somebody that'll wear that pinny.

I'm not sexist, but I realise that if the garden (the one with grass and trees) needs digging over then I'm the best to do this job. My gf could do it, but it'd take her easily 3 or 4 times as long, heck she'd give up half way through.

I'm not sexist, and we are equal in our minds... we're just unequal in everything else.

Oh, come on. Are you telling me that a man and a woman, both pathetic alcoholics, are better parents than a pair of sober women or men? Hope not, 'cos I sure won't buy it.

The best parent is a loving, supportive parent- and it doesn't matter how many of those a child has (more the merrier!) nor what gear is hanging between their thighs.
I totally agree :blsmoke:

To feebly attempt to get this back on track- the best grower will be the one who knows some botanical science, knows a tick of chemistry, has reasonable understanding of electricity or has the ability to search up and learn what's needed. Being handy with power tools and rudimentary carpentry is a big help.

Being fawning and motherly with plants will do a whole lot of nothing- for the plants, anyway. Gardening, indoors or out, is a bit of hard graft and a bunch of knowledge.

I'll second that... it can be back breaking work sometimes. Especially when you're taking more than 30 clones. The most I've done is 70 in one night. Next night, went back and did another 70. All that bending down isn't good for the back.

You shouldn't really make a statement like that without having the presence of mind to explain yourself properly.

Please explain, in what way am I ignorant? I'm sure there are plenty of things you are ignorant about too.

i've been trying to get my gf to get into growing too, it's just with working full time and raising a 3 yold, there's not a whole lot of time. Also, she doesn't have a whole lot of patience for sitting down and reading through all the info. Not saying this about women in general, just the particular case of my gf. Would probably be different if she was as passionate as me about the growing, and really that's what it's all about, the passion.
I think that she could be a very good grower however, and NOT because she's "motherly" (which she is). She has given me good advice in my grow, mainly "quit messing with those damn plants and just let them grow".

Mogie- I had no idea you were a female (by product of the sexist mindset of our society), I think you serve as a great example to those who question a womans ability to grow.

Oh and on what a woman wants in a man, most self-confident emotionally healthy women want a man who recognizes that they are important and contributive individuals and members of society that are as valuable as any other individual. Women who want a man who will degrade them and belittle them usually have some deep rooted psycological self-esteem issues which cause them to be comforted by the lack of control, but thats a whole new can of worms.

interesting thred though (not really about the growing, just the broad spectrum of opines about the male-female dynamic in our society)

and I take offense at that ignorant males comment as well, I am a male, and I am strong enough to recognize how wonderful women can be, so how does that make me ignorant? Not all men lapse into the mysoginistic (i know i spelled that wrong) views ingrained in our society.
