No i havent done any of those things .lolNext run know that you need to look at longer intervals between watering starting somewhere around day 50. For now stop over watering and see what you get from this harvest, hopefully you caught it in time so they can finish properly. Are you dimming the lights, droping CO2 levels and such as you ripen?
I will def keep those tips in mind for next run for sure. I will slack back on the watering for now.For now you can reduce watering (longer time between watering). They may benefit from a heavy dose of tribus or something with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in it.
Basically by torturing the roots you are promoting an early death so hopefully they ripen faster than they die.
I always drop CO2, dim lights and reduce temps during the last 2-3 weeks. I get better density and less foxtailing. Some people say I am silly but I get better yields and better quality. Too much light and heat and co2 in the ripening phase causes fluffy foxtailed buds IME.
Ya I'm leaning that way too bro. Gettem down and out of harms way. Make sure this don't happen againYeah they def slow and take less water, or at least they do in the soil I use. I’d chop them girls myself
Yeah I wouldn’t risk it happening to any other parts of the plant and they’re definitely in the window regardless.Ya I'm leaning that way too bro. Gettem down and out of harms way. Make sure this don't happen again
At what PPFD reading do you dim your lights to? Currently I'm at about 850 with no co2 and I'm on day 45 of flower in a rdwc system @ 750ppm. If I dim lights in the coming weeks I should also drop ppms a bit?I always drop CO2, dim lights and reduce temps during the last 2-3 weeks. I get better density and less foxtailing. What light do you have those under? Do you have a veg tent? I'm looking to start a mother/veg/clone tent in a 2x4 and looking for ideas on which light would be perfect.
Omfg i said to myself last week these muthafkrs looked like they were bloated, i never considered them slowing down and taking less water as they finish up. I just kept plugging away with their regular waterings.
FML
What can i do to fix it?

Ya hopefully it's no worse than what I caught. I'm chopping everything tomorrowIn my experience once root rot sets in, and you have that kind of flower die back, recovery is damn near impossible. Thankfully you are near the end, so hopefully no biggy.
Edit: like renfro said, root rot likely due to over saturation of media as plants need less water near the end.
Thanks budStellar set up man, beautiful plants!
Good luck! Can't wait to see how it turns out! I think you'll be aightI've made the decision to chop everything tomorrow evening after work.
Hopefully I caught it fast enough
I've combed over all the plants and from what I can tell those few tops were tho only affected areas showing. So let's hope that was it
