Do you already have the HPS?flower with HPS
No I haven't. CMH are better? I will looking thatDo you already have the HPS?
If not get CMH's with Phillip's bulbs
Yes, considerably IMO. I replaced a 400WMH & 2x600WHPS (2 cool tubes) setup with 3x315CMH (no cool tubes) and even with the ballasts inside the tent it's no warmer. Bulbs last longer too.CMH are better?
Sun System LEC Boss 315 Watt Commercial Fixture with 3,100K Lamp, 120 Volt In a 5 x 5 area?Yes, considerably IMO. I replaced a 400WMH & 2x600WHPS (2 cool tubes) setup with 3x315CMH (no cool tubes) and even with the ballasts inside the tent it's no warmer. Bulbs last longer too.

I like the LED too. My issue is cost of LED.I'm a LED guy from seed to finish..the pic of the canopy is at day 47 vegetative stage.. but yes you can go from one to the next if you know your light distances..
I never had a problem with cost when at $70-$240 for a light isn't bad been using same lights for over a year now... $70 light is 300watt full spectrum and the $200-240 is a 900 watt full spectrum.. currently I use 2 300 watt for flower... 1 300 watt for vegetative stage.. in a 3x3 tent both stages same size tentsWhat is the way to judge these lights?

I was basing off lights like Kind. I ain't to knowledgable about that stuff and would have to buy the light ready to useI never had a problem with cost when at $70-$240 for a light isn't bad been using same lights for over a year now... $70 light is 300watt full spectrum and the $200-240 is a 900 watt full spectrum.. currently I use 2 300 watt for flower... 1 300 watt for vegetative stage.. in a 3x3 tent both stages same size tents
With most LED lights those wattage numbers are wildly inaccurate.I never had a problem with cost when at $70-$240 for a light isn't bad been using same lights for over a year now... $70 light is 300watt full spectrum and the $200-240 is a 900 watt full spectrum.. currently I use 2 300 watt for flower... 1 300 watt for vegetative stage.. in a 3x3 tent both stages same size tents
Not in the sense I'm sure your trying to make... L.E.D.s use less wattage for draw of power.. L.E.D.s only use less power to create light.. with true full spectrum L.E.D. lights you get an even greater bandwidth of light spectrum as well..With most LED lights those wattage numbers are wildly inaccurate.
Not that I don't care about cost but..... I am more for the best light possibleNot in the sense I'm sure your trying to make... L.E.D.s use less wattage for draw of power.. Exactly in the sense he is trying to suggest. You have a 300w light and a 900w light, neither of them draw the power stated in the title. Not in the sense I'm sure your trying to make... Babies and teens are perfect for T5's/T8s. I agree with you.all you have to do when changing light sources is acclimate the plant to that light
for example run 25% power 25% distance , next day 50% power 25% distance, then 50%/50%... slowly work towards max
you should do this when changing to any light source. The sun, HID (hps/mh) or LED.
I think flouro's need the least acclimation as they aren't an agressive light
You obviously dont understand power from light.. your light say 300 watt hps/ms only produces 300 watts of light while consuming 300 watts electricity while my say 300 watt full spectrum led produces 300 watts of light while only consuming 130 watts +/- 3%.. just because led use less electricity to produce light doesn't make it smoke and mirrors lmao...Exactly in the sense he is trying to suggest. You have a 300w light and a 900w light, neither of them draw the power stated in the title.
Misleading!
Why not call them what they are 130w light? Because that wouldn't sound as good.
300w light is a stretch of the truth unless it draws 300w.
Smoke and mirrors.
