What up what up what up!
Closet grow and like the title said I am having trouble getting my ambient temps around my containers within an acceptable range. My canopy sits at 78-79 degrees and my light is about 24 - 30 inches from the bottom of my containers.
my temps at containers during daytime high of 79 is around 78 degrees. There very close canopy and container ambient temps.
my closet is 22 inches deep x 44 inches wide x 7 ft tall. ( Micro Grow Baby)
my exhaust fan is 185 cfm drilled through the top of my closet door pushing air out into the room the closet is in ( recirculating through room and closet not the best?) my fan is on a controller and dialed back about 50 percent.
my 3 Afghan kushs are about2 feet off the ground in a plasticstorage toat.... I have 1 fan below toat pushing up backside of closet and an additional fan blowing over the canopy/under light. There is no intake except the negative pressure and the crack at the bottom of closet door....
T5 week 5 veg from clone......
my inkbird controller is set to a humidifier under my plant table and my humidity sits right at 50-52 percent very consistently and my inkbird is set to a 750 watt heater in my outside room. When my tempsat canopy dip below 75 heater kicks on and bringscanopy temp up then shuts off.
if anyone has any idea why my temps are higher than advisable at my container zone please share insight.
So far I’m going to cover my pots possibly with cardboard/tinfoil to get shade and see how that helps but I can’t imagine my t5 is emitting all that much heat it has to have something to do with my airflow?
Which is why my next move will be to manipulate my fans and see if I can engineer a cooler intake?
help and insight appreciated.
Negative feed back can take a hike
thank you everyone thanks I
