By tomorrow morning we will know who is going to lead the way in the attempt to take back control of America from Trump & his hoard of monkeys.
So, where are we heading, meaning the DNC?
A totally new direction, or will it simply be an attempt to defeat Trump.
Socialism, or a more humane form of Capitalism (if that's possible)?
I got a bad feeling about this one, which is strange because I am a Socialist Dem that agrees with most everything Sanders espouses, but I don't think he will win in today's Trump America, which is paramount at this time in the World's history
We simply have too defeat Trump & take back the Senate & maintain control of the House & prevent the take over of the Supreme Court by conservatives, which if Trump wins will happen & fuck up the Progressive movement for decades.
As much as I would like to vote Sanders, I'm going Biden because he stands a chance of beating Trump & that's better than nothing

Oh, and for anyone that's confused about the music
I just like the Clash :)

God that is a tough call, Sanders will win today easily I am guessing. Biden can also do well by keeping the delagates within a decent range. And Trump can win regardless because either way he either gets Bernie, and Mitch wins, and Trump gets his candidate of choice, or Biden wins and Bernie goes all 'establishment is out to get me', which is a win for Trump and his online armies to use to try to suppress voter turnout.

It's like a sick game of paper-rock-scissors.

Is there anybody left under 70?

It takes an old fuck to beat a worse old fuck now?

The last 5 elected Democrats were in their 40's and 50's and one of the two in their 50's only got elected because his younger boss got shot.

But none of them were running against the least popular asshole in US history either, so there's hope.

Yep, disappointed that the up and coming class didn't do better. I blame it on boomers who apparently suck at mentoring younger up and comers so that they can replace them. In this case, I also blame the youth who apparently aren't any better as seeing talent and wanting that instead of experience. The youth picked an old fuddy duddy white man, Democratic boomers picke an old fuddy duddy white man and the up and comers got a taste of what a primary is like but no cigar.

Going into last week, I was certain that this Tuesday, Sanders would walk away with a formidable haul of delegates. Today, I'm optimistic for Biden's chances to least match Sanders in the delegate count when the day is over. In this case, close counts, as it does in horse shoes. Biden and Warren need to siphon up votes away from Sanders in order to ensure a competitive race against Trump in the fall.

Bernie Sanders is a Republican judas goat.

If any of that were true, Hillary Clinton would be president. It sounds like you've been fooled to believe the same narrative the moderate/centrist wing of the Democratic party was trying to sell in 2016. If Biden is the nominee, Trump wins reelection. Vote accordingly, don't say progressives didn't warn you when Biden inevitably loses and everyone blames everything but Biden and establishment policy/strategy for it.

9 out of 10 Democrats prefer a Democrat.

God forbid the next generation attempts to create a better future.
Oh, the right wing fake Sanders supporter makes yet another clumsy jab from the left.

You completely missed your mark because you have no clue about what Democratic Party's members are about. Bernie Sanders is almost 80, the youth faction picked a patriarch, not one of them and not a capable leader. Boomers have dominated politics, left and right for decades. The youth in our party picked an old white grand dad figure because they were comfortable with old white patriarchs. That's all they have ever known. They aren't looking at important characteristics, like, accomplishments and leadership ability. They just hear an old guy angrily castigating "the establishment" and are happy to vote for him. If they aren't planning an evening out, they might even show up to vote. Their turnout hasn't been all that great, btw.

I and many other moderately left Democrats like and admire AOC. Her New Green Deal was a thoughtful roadmap for our future. I don't know why Kamala Harris or Booker or some other promising candidates failed to catch fire but here we are, with boomers duking it out in another re-make of a Democratic primary that has been played between boomers for decades.

When the next generation really attempts to create a better future by picking one of their own AND BEATING a boomer to do so, I'll be happy. They do have to win, though. This trait has thus far eluded them. They have to win instead of demand it be handed to them.

Bernie Sanders is the Republican Party's judas goat. Was true in 2016, is true in 2020. He can't win but may spoil the general election for Democrats, handing Republicans another win.

Biden has the best range of voters. And really, Biden isn't a bad choice... you know what you are going to get with him, and know he won't screw you. I also think he has the best chance of not only winning overall, but also has the best chance of getting the country back on track. Politically people like him more than Bernie, not only within America, but globally. Fix the damage first, then worry about overhauling the whole system... though in all honesty, before trump, it really wasn't that bad of a system... it may not have been perfect, but it was improving, and as a whole has been a lot better than most for a long time. For old guy against old guy, one good thing is that both seem like they will bring younger people into their campaigns if they win. Bernie with his fake revolutionaries, and I would bet Biden gets Stacey Abrams as vp if he does good today... I could be wrong, but that is my gut feel. I also think he might have positions for some of the candidates who have dropped out. I don't mind that, because it gets the younger people prepared for taking on bigger roles in the future... I think it is important to have some understanding of how it all works before just jumping in to the oval office. My sister is a tattoo artist, but she apprenticed for years before she was seen as a pro- I would rather get a tattoo from someone who has been learning and honing the skill for a while, over just a scratcher who bought a gun off the internet and is working out of their garage. I also know a guy who teaches martial arts, and it's the same thing- if i'm getting karate lessons, i'm not going to learn from a middle schooler... i'm going to the person who knows what the fuck they are talking about. All that said, there were several candidates who dropped out this round that I thought were more aware and knowledgeable than some of these old guys at least in certain aspects... bring them in and it can all work out with a nice balance of experience and fresh perspective.

No opinion on what Betsy Devos has done about this crisis? I can understand why Republican propaganda wants to focus on what Biden may have done 40 years ago, their recent actions have been downright awful.

she had no experience in education or what teachers really need,u do know that a lot of these public school teachers have to take money out of their own pocket and actually use that for their classes the education should be covered by the state/government and they don't get the money they need to educate the next generation of children. these children are relying on their teachers because these teachers want them to succeed the state/government doesn't.think about it
