DIY with Quantum Boards

right, sorry guys, I got the 2 mixed up, and you guys were answering so just continued. I am switching my order and going with the Bs, saving a cool 19 USD, thanks guys. And I did by the HLG 550, so I did support them as well.

Can someone point me in the right direction for breaking this space down and learning it piece by piece so I don't waste anyone's time with dumb questions? I know nothing I'm sorry.

I was looking at HLG300 V2 Rspec for a 2x2 space but I want to get the most out of veg as well and not drop lots of money on a different q board if I get the V2 Rspec, so I was considering just getting a MH for veg. Then I learned today a DIY space exists, I don't know if there is a more logical, economical route while getting same or better results, so recommendations would be great.

EDIT: Originally I wanted to do a 5x5 tent but when I saw the $850 for an hlg QB I thought needed to compromise for half the space and not lose quality light.

and whats up with this official release statement direct from samsung... This 3.10 Micro Moles talk?

hmm! This has me second guessing again, after all GGs said it came from the horses mouth(Samsung) and now this from Samsung. Has anyone mapped both of these? I would like to see some actual proof.

corporate bullshit
I honestly don’t see a company like Samsung getting caught up in lawsuits for false advertising, with the bread they bring to the table, why the need, it’s not like they need to sugarcoat anything to increase sales. Any statements they make should be correct. Imho

If you're willing to DIY, you can get more for less. Either way, an HLG300 is way more light than you need in a 2x2; it's more suited to a 3x3. What's your max budget for lighting?

Something I do notice with my 135watt v1 3000k 2835 is the apparent reddish appearance of the light, very warm. Noticeable.
I'd like to see a spectrum comparison between the 3000k Luxeon 2835s and the 3000k LM561Cs. They should be quite close, but I have also noticed that the new v1 3000k boards seem warmer - at least to the naked eye.

The R-Specs veg perfectly fine, no extra stretch that I could tell. Don't need any other veg light unless you're lighting a separate area.

These companies are all thieves. You don't even know if they even use any Samsung chips at all. Remember the old burpul lights? They ALL claimed " Cree and Epistar chips". NOT A ONE had a Cree LED on it!. They have no truth in advertising laws. And as for Epistar chips.. well they are the bottom of the barrel. I've got a couple of old burple boards that each have 30 to 40 burnt out chips. My QB 304 are on there way to 4 years old, no burnt out chips and every bit as bright as when I bought them. And HLG boards DON"T cost 3 times as much. They use REAL Samsung chips.HLG didn't just slap some chips on a board and call it good. They did actual design and testing including sphere tests. HLG offers a three year warranty. And you don't have to wait for your stuff to come from China. I wish you the best but you couldn't pay me to use that Chinese shit! Of course you could save money by going on ebay where they will sell you a 2200 WATT grow light for $99 .....................

don't they charge u more for the h version and say their horticultural grade? I know their the same just Im pretty sure some shitty company's do that

I thought these were Lumi LEDs not Luxeon
