Wish I could use my well water.......... it kills cannabis! Had the water tested multiple times nothing out of wack. Switched to RO water my problems went away. a little cal mag added and that's all, in my organic grows.

The height is dependent on the amount of light needed, which can be measured with a PAR or Lux meter. It's very hard to do things right without one of those, at least for me. For example, you may want 5-10k lux for seedlings, 20-40k lux for veg, and 50-70k lux for bloom, but those are just general numbers and you should use both a meter and observe your plant's response because the plant is like a race car, the many different variables dictate how it grows and they must be balanced to achieve the best results. According to Dr. Bruce Bugbee, you can blast seedlings with a lot of light as long as all the other variables are in balance. The Dr. Meter light meter is a great cheap beginner's tool and has helped me out a lot, so I would definitely get it.

no pathogens either that last test cost me $200 i got the works! I suspect too much Iron, its within tolerance for human but a little high. All i know is they went from one batch looking like I took a blowtorch to them to a group being healthy as can be. A can and do dilute the RO with my water as RO is wasteful, but I use no more than one gallon to 4 of RO. And it seems to be seasonal the water is usable in winter them about May it goes to shit. PH goes up to about 8.0 spmetimes!

Half of the “ old wells “ around me have “ bodies “ in them .... so there’s that.

Hard to strain out the exes bio sludge from it .... out of sight out of mind I guess.

You should ditch adding 1gal to 4gals of RO. All that clean clear and filtered RO just gets tainted, ruined and possibly introduces pathogens I to it when you do that. Maybe 50/50 I could see being sustainable, but it's pointless for a 4:1 ratio.

Mine doesn't kill it, but it sure makes it hard to get a stable pH. TA, Total Alkalinity is off the chart, well, off the pool test strip chart! Carbonates can be a little overbearing!

You may want to have your well casing checked out. Wells are not static, fissure open and close all the time, but, changes from seasons, especially from a lot of rain should not effect a a good well. You could also just be in a bad aquifer.

Hey man, on this link, post #682 , member Or_Gro measured one QB96 at low wattage with his Sekonic spectrometer.

QB96 Elite V2 w/ SSTX heatsink question

Looks like these 96 elites/elite 360s work in flower, too... Soil2coco’s white sharks: Today:

His Sekonic showed a CCT of 3462K when measuring four QB96 in a 4x4 at higher power (this was on GC forum).

Solo KKP got a top dress ( final ) for the next couple weeks of maturity. She’s fading but want to make sure medium is still charged enough for that fading . Those are under QB96 only .... did not use UV on them ... yet. Thinking of flipping timer on those for Monday ( got a new timer ) to get set up for 4 x 3hr ( power on ) during 12/12 for 15 minutes only. Pure UV bulbs can be a bit much running them any longer.
I installed a 10000k finisher to work with the UV bulb instead of rocking a douBle barrel of Pure UV which would be overkill .
