I remember Michael saying they had a 4002 unit, 2000 cuft. not in the papersA bit of overkill but it's their smallest unit.

You are gonna love the peace of mind my friend. Only thing left to worry about is pests..
He was expecting my call! And I did tell him that Renfro sent me.
They did have a 4002 unit like you thought, saved a few dollars from the 4005.
The price tag is going to run me about $3,400 USD, $4,450 Canadian plus duty and taxes. More than I paid for my Black Dog light!
It'll be worth it to have peace of mind that the buds are going to be harvestable.
Thanks for the help Renfro.

So these replaceable parts I’m assuming they are easy for the consumer to install every couple months. This unit would prohibit mold, mildew etc?You are gonna love the peace of mind my friend. Only thing left to worry about is pests.
I have not done this yet myself but it looks pretty straight forward for someone that is a little bit handy with a screwdriver. I think most folks that can build a grow will get around it lol.So these replaceable parts I’m assuming they are easy for the consumer to install every couple months.
It continuously sterilizes every surface your air touches in the room as long as you have adequate air movement. This unit would prohibit mold, mildew etc?
It doesn't have to process every molecule of air because it puts out the reactive oxygen species (hydrogen trioxide) and this is what lands on the surfaces in your room to sterilize them. It's not about the ozone, thats a by product. How will you make sure that all the air goes inside this tiny device?
I am also wondering what is inside the device.
They claim that they have a patent on it, but can't find it anywhere.
Sceptical as I am, I do think it is just an ozonmachine and nothing else.
There are several devices on the market for less money.
But hey, I could be wrong, and they actually did invent something totally new.
Could be a hydrogen peroxide generator and an ozone generator and a reactor to combine the two to form hydrogen trioxide. How will you make sure that all the air goes inside this tiny device?

All I know is it works. lol It's the bee's knees. Michael knows all about the product and can explain things much better than I ever could. I know it creates other ROS molecules but the main one that survives long enough to go anywhere is the Trioxidane / Hydrogen Trioxide.Could be a hydrogen peroxide generator and an ozone generator and a reactor to combine the two to form hydrogen trioxide.
Yeah I am not in the business of propagating mildew for test purposes lol Perhaps someone thats fighting an active outbreak will purchase one and show their results. To find out if it really works for bud rot and mildew, you should actually do some comparative tests in controlled environments.
You should therefore test whether it performs better or worse than devices that work with ozone only.
I did read some of their reports, but those didn't seem like scientifically valid tests to me.
In any case, it is an interesting development and I am very curious about the benefits you will achieve in your space.
If that is true then I suppose people could give up on the hydrogen peroxide treatment as a means to stop PM.I think once you have mildew or botrytis ozone and trioxide can't do much anymore.
As I understand they only kill the spores.
I wish they were that cheap, I would have three, one for each room. They do make a unit thats for 2000 cuft. Also they recommend using a room sizing multiplier of 1.5 for a flowering room, so your 1500 would end up sized at 2250 for our purposes. So I think the 2000 cuft model would be a good fit, it could be cranked up or down a bit as needed to tune it to your space. There are adjustments you can make via the touch screen controller.Consumer model?
My room is 1500 cubed.
It's not a commercial operation.
I also don't want molds etc.
What's the plan?
I'll pay $400-$600
If it really works.
I'll buy one.
Sharpen your pencil Michael.
