Also on the feed line coming off of the pump has 2 12 lines coming off that connect to multiple other lines that creates a u shape . Can't I just remove that u shaped hose and connect straight to my buckets?
I dont understand?

I will fix that as well because some of the return lines are not completely flat thank you
Also on the return lines being completely on the floor I have my reservoir outside of the tent and the hoses ran through the very bottom of the tent . There is a pole at the bottom of the tent so the return lines have 2 elevate a tiny bit to get over the pole . Any suggestions how to keep them flat ?

The T connector is the beginning of the manifold it has to stay.water goes around in a circle creating equal pressure at ea site.
Like i said use the same fitting that at the closest pails on the end pails to join them together easy fix.

2x4 with a weight onit,a little up is ok as long as all 4 are the same.

next fix is your pump,it needs a T on it with a valve to you can adjust how much water goes to your pails. This will create some movement in your res to add DO.

So if your able i would remove all the feed hoses and start over. You cant move your pails around because of how its designed.let me know what you can get and if your able to do it.

Ok so the submersible pump has a 12 in hose connected to it . Which connects to a single plastic connector which connects to another 12 inch hose and then that hose connects to a t shaped connector which has 2 12 inch hoses coming off of that on each side, and then finally each of those hoses are connected to another single connect which connects to 2 12 inch hoses which connects tobthe buckets. Couldn't I just remove the last 2 12 in hoses and connect straight to the buckets?

I planned on keeping the T connect I was just wondering if the last 12 inch hoses were necessary

I wasn't planning on removing the T connect my question is are the 2 last 12 inch hoses necessary? Or could I just remove them and hook straight to my buckets?
or go under the pole but those hoses are soft arn't they?Again smack the dude that built this.
No they are not real soft

I could definitely remove all of the feed lines and start over and would love expert opinions on how to do it properly

Sorry for the noob questions but are you saying I need to put a T connecter on those 2 hoses and then running another hose to each of those other 2 ?

A Tee at ea pail. Hose goes between.so two Tees and what ever length hose. This makes a circle of the flow. So now each hole or pail will have equal pressure.

Makes sense thank you . You had mentioned a valve to control water how do i get those or where do I put them ?

So ideally you have a short Manifold in your rez. Then 4 hoses coming out one to ea site. This allows them to run on the floor out of the way then up to ea site. You can now move your pails apart from ea other as your plants grow. This also has no fittings out side of your res so no chance of leaks.
there’s other ways but no fittings outside of your res is the best. No chance of leaks.

Now your pump is it an in line pump or a submersible?Like can it run out of the water? This is heating your water.

One more question I read the hoses at the bottom are not big enough because they will get clogged with roots . How do I fix that ?
