I had the opposite problem. My parents didn't smoke and they would smell it on me and I'd get in trouble. That was my dad. Coffee and cigarettes yuck.

We also discovered sushi isn’t as good in take out form. The hand rolls lose their crunch by the time you get home.no shit. take-out works for us. although mexican take out sucks; you gotta hve the chips and salsa while the chips are warm.
Remember, Trumpers lurk here, they sometimes post and they have repeatedly demonstrated an tenuous grasp on reality at best. Remember your Rick Mercer, you are "talking to Americans" and only a little more than half of them have any fucking brains at all! So keep it simple and repeat frequently as I do.I would have thought anyone who was familiar with posting history would know I was being sarcastic. Oh well.
I remember going to a regular bingo game as a kid put on by the KOC with a friend and his mother. It was populated mostly by women and the smoke in the place was like a thick fog and was so bad my eyes watered and I had to leave for fresh air. Now it is illegal to smoke in a car with a kid in it (in NS), societies evolve and attitudes can change, it's what gives me hope, most people do learn eventually, but some would rather die.I grew up in the era that had 60% of adults smoking. I couldn't escape it. Sadly, it made me not want to kiss my mom.
I live in an area with many craft brewers. Lagunitas, for one, but there's a big selection that fill growlers. All in "wine country", too.we've been getting some growlers filled at our local brewery. drink local!

It is so much cheaper to eat at home. And if you do it right and don't buy processed food you can really save big. I eat better than people spending 3 times what I do on food and have for years. We also discovered sushi isn’t as good in take out form. The hand rolls lose their crunch by the time you get home.
We’ve saved a shit load of money though. I said to my wife we would be crazy to go back to eating out as much as we did when the pandemic is behind us. We actually eat better and healthier now.
I'm in Portland. We've been able to fill growlers long before covid. If I remember correctly it was McMenamins that first started offering to go containers after they allowed it in Oregon. Back then it was mason jars that were used. That was back in the 90's.I live in an area with many craft brewers. Lagunitas, for one, but there's a big selection. All in "wine country", too.
A reusable jug you take in and they fill it with beer. What’s a growler?
An angry 'publican at the bar. What’s a growler?

crispy boneless duck and having the guy at the counter crack your stone crab claws, to-go ruins both.We also discovered sushi isn’t as good in take out form. The hand rolls lose their crunch by the time you get home.

were the irish not allowed to vote? i love the pine cone/birch branch selection method- so funny canadians are the best and always sunny!Remember, Trumpers lurk here, they sometimes post and they have repeatedly demonstrated an tenuous grasp on reality at best. From 8 years ago, it helps explain Trump (now that they will have a real president we can poke the stick)
Bingo! I prefer lager (Anchor Steam), but ale has been the popular favorite for the last 20 years, or longer.nice! our last trip to CA we stayed in Santa Rosa. and hit up Lagunitas. i'm not an IPA fan but they make good stuff.
Before 1918 you were not allowed to vote, in America or Canada. Males could always vote in Canada, but we had poll taxes in the past too, Jim Crow extended here as well, where ever you have black people and bigots. No one is really free of the shit, our conditioning riding on top of our genetic propensities is who were are, your personality is an accumulation of habits and preferences.were the irish not allowed to vote? i love the pine cone/birch branch selection method- so funny canadians are the best and always sunny!
i love anchor porter. but i'm generally a german guy: hefeweizen, kolsch, etc. our closest brewery makes mostly barrel aged sours which are really good too. its funny going in there when customers ask what they have close to coors or bud and they say "Nothing!"Bingo!
