What is causing this? COCO

When I'm in late flower i push it up to 2.2-2.4 if there is calmag, if I'm holding the calmag it's a bit less. That's per house n gardens nute schedule. I have some gavita some fluence. Fluence sucks, there drivers/ballasts fail all the time, out of the 4 fluence I have, 1 fails every couple months. In fact I just got back from exchanging one of them. Never had a problem with the gavitas and the end results are the same.

I heard a lot of people say that i don't have to worry about watering when the pots are still heavy. I am coming from soil so it just feels so wrong to water when they are still pretty heavy.

Well forget about soil... coco is hydroponics.... your growing in water with coco as a substrate. Every 24 hours you put enough water/nutes in to push the old water out... in out in out... shake it all about!

Like others have mentioned, you're growing in coco not soil...feed your plants every single day until there's a decent runoff. The weight of your pot means nothing. Preferably twice/day if possible. Also in coco you dont need to use big pots...3 gallon more than adequate if growing indoors. I actually grow in 1 gallon pots and get around 12oz dry per plant on average, depending on the strain of course.

Well it is me again. I just noticed that my roots are starting to turn brown and mushy. I think I have actually overwatered them. They look super healthy tho. I stopped feeding hydroguard (i use a alternative product with the same ingredients) because i ran out of it.
I pulled the plant out of its pot to check the roots and on some plants they are pretty brown and smell fishy. I also noticed some flies (only about 3 or 4) on the coco.

I thought root rot was impossible to get using coco? I use plastic pots. My growroom is a little chilly with 23C at day and about 17C at night.
I only grew these plants to get cuttings from them to do a SOG run (cookies and cream by exotic genetics if you want to know). So I don't really worry about them dying. To prevent this from happening again I have to know what caused this. Do you guys have any ideas?

Are you letting them drain properly, or are the holes on the bottom of the pots in direct contact with the floor? Personally I add perlite to my coco for better aeration, and I've also drilled several 1/4-inch holes in the sides of my pots.

They are in plastic pots 6.5L on a growing table. I thought you just water everyday without letting them dry off. They are 24/7 soaking wet basically.

It sounds like the plants aren't drinking and/or pots aren't draining. Like others have suggested, use H2O2 to kill and rot in the medium. I'd give them a good flush of half-strength nutes + H2O2, and make sure they are really draining well. I never liked straight coco myself because I felt it didn't drain as well as it did once I started adding perlite, however many straight coco users will swear that straight coco is the best. Can you post whole plant pics?

Are you growing in coco? How often do you water?
I water my 25 ltr pots 1 time per day til they give out 20%. Fertigation.... not watering... the water has feed in.

If you really have root rot then just add hydrogen peroxide to the feed. It its really bad.... just start again... sometimes its too far gone.
