I got a question about that beautiful scrogging you've made if you don't mind
What was the exact method you used to get that many coalas? From what I can tell, you seem to have started pretty early as the net is really close to the bottom, but did you do a topping before that? And after installing the net and bending the girls below it, did you continue to sew them in between the lines from time to time?
Or did you just let them grow for some time before the net and install it really low and made an extreme training that would cover up the whole net at once?

I am planning on combining a mainlining technique with the scrogging but worried that might cause a lot of stress... although my logic says having as many mains as possible before the scrogging begins would result in the maximum number of colas possible. I wouldn't go for 16 of course but something like 4 or 8 could be good. Yet, the aggressive trimming below those mains and nodes during this process is a bit stressful (for me at least)

The scrog was put in place very early, I topped once originally, then took the 6 branches from that and ran them in every direction.
If a branch was getting too long(close to the walls of the tent) i would top it. That encouraged all its branching to come up from under the net.
Eventually it just became a daily chore of tucking new branches that were too tall, trying to open up the canopy so new budsites could make it into the canopy, and lollipopping any branches from the underside that wouldn't have enough strength to get above the net.

Vorus - This the Scottyballs thread that really helped me get a decent first time scrog screen.. That grow was under 100 days seed to harvest.. Trying to use other tech with a sceen is just a waste of tine.. At least to me it is.. My aim is to flower & harvest with very little veg time.. In Scottys thread veg time was three weeks.. My led thread on 420 was 27 days.. My mixed Hydro thread used 3 different type lights.., 315 w cmh, 430w hps, and an185w Advanced 200 led.. They all worked great.. They all made me look- not bad.. I have to take a little credit for myself..

I called it and chopped them unfortantly.
I have 4 new ones at about day 18 now
They are much better, and growing strong.
Unfortantly only 3 of my 4 originally germinated so I have one plant about 5 days behind

Day 41 from seed
Issues have almost completely cleared up, ran them up to 850 ppm (500x) now and starting to get just a hint of tip burn.
I plan to flip to flower Thursday

Day 42 from seed, Switch to flower today
FINALLY got my inline mesh filter hooked up to my RDWC system. I've been risking my water pump running without it....

Deleafed today in preparation for the switch
I lowered the light intensity 20% to take it easy for a day
I also emptied out the system and filled with clean water and a strong dose of UC root. I am running that for 12 hours to clean, and let the plants recover further from the deleafing. After this 12 hour flush I will load them up with their first dose of flower nutrients and turn the lights back up.

I'm running a RDWC system for the first time. Decided to take down my tent down and let the plants go wild. Using Cultured Solutions nutrients. No enzymes or beneficial bacteria. The nutrients are based on a clean system concept. Their product UC Roots, "is a multi-purpose root zone optimizer that uses proprietary chemistry to aid in mineral descaling and removal of potentially harmful biofilms in nutrient reservoirs. I have to say the roots are almost pure white and their is no slime build up on the air tubing. It's been almost seven weeks and haven't had to change the water. The plants look quite healthy and the PH level is a consistent 5.9 using tap water.
Using a 930 watt Timber COB light with a color spectrum of approximately 2500k. The attached photos show the plants in one photo at approximately 10 days. The others were at 7 weeks. I'm estimating another 4-5 weeks to harvest. The plants are all auto flowers of different strains. I decide to go with auto's because this is my first go round with the light, the RDWC and nutrients. I figured if things went off the rails I'd know pretty quickly. I'm expecting about 20 oz's in total. These auto's seem to be yielding almost 50% more than I was able to attain growing in Pro-Mix.

Alright, about 30 hours after what I've learned is called "Swazzing" my plants, a preventitive neem oil treatment, 24 hours of darkness to adjust light cycle, a 12 hour flush/descaling/ sanitization treatment, a fresh batch of week 1 bloom feed, and another good tucking, the girls are officially put into flower.

Its a thing since it was coined in the book "3 a light" in 2015
Its a specific deleafing strategy
Everything that has ever been didn't have a name untill it was named.
SOG, ScrOG, FIM
All made up names someone pulled out their ass. (Even if the words correlate with the idea of the technique. Its still stupid made up names that were coined and now are recognized)

I love RDWC systems
Alittle ingenuity and my life has never been easier growing.
Feels good finally having them system I've always wanted since I started 10 years ago.
I know things are alttle disorganized, but it everything operates amazing.
Its not pictured, but just to the right is my 30g top off where I can mix my next batch of nutes, and keep a supply to refill the RDWC res with my PVC float.

Just flipped the switch to flower 2 days ago, and deleafed. So I had ran almost 24 hours of darkness, and started them out at 80% power once lights turned back on. Today I turned the light back to 100%, tomorrow I will lower it from 30" high, to 20"
Then at probably week 2 or 3 flower I will add the 3 extra SF1000s
Right now I dont believe I have enough foliage, to sustain that much light, plus I want to ease them into it.

I will hang the lights in a fashion like this in the 4x4 (the two corners will suffer alittle loss of intensity)

I'm not overly concerned with temps yet, we will see though once everything is running.
I have a lot of fans, plus two 400 CFM inline fans (intake and exhaust), and a 14,000 BTU dual hose AC in the 110 sq ft grow room (AC is made to handle 600 sq ft)
