Old mans Durban poison

I feel ya man. I have 2 tents, a shit ton of lights and some fans still in boxes. My collection has taken over most of the loft and recroom. But I've harvested enough bud for me to feel justified in what I've spent. Even though I probably shouldn't think about it. It would be nice to have the space back though.

But like you say, it's my hobby, lol.

Holy shit man....

My accumulation is as follows.

Grow bags
Seeds
Seed starter soil
Main soil
3 bottles of nutes

All of this is for that tent set up given to me by spiderfarmer
1 tent
1 light

Purchased or had
1 fan
1 heater
1 temp controller
1 exaust

That's it.

Growing outdoors is simple and extremely cheap. Dirt, seed, nutes......

Easy stuff.

Nope lmao. Not gonna happen.

Thing is I grow tons during the summer. So much I have to get inventive with how to use it all.

I'm not selling weed so investing in power being drawn isn't on the agenda. Il use this small tent for non summer grows if I feel the itch.

But I'm not going down that rabbit hole. Lmao

Well you're lucky you're in a good growing climate. I'm in the CO mountains. It could be sunny and warm, and then dump hail or snow anytime.

1000, 4x4x6. Bought as package for 2 plants . Ocean dirt, fox farm nutes, female seeds Netherlands..
It's not a terrible light, but you need 4 of them in a 4x4 to get full potential. The PPFD spread on that light is about perfect for a 2x2. I actually like lower-powered cheaper QB-style LEDs so I can set up multiple point sources of light rather than one big light in the middle. I try to shoot for around 40W/sq ft with LEDS, but spread out evenly over the whole canopy. Most people say 32W/ sq ft with latest gen Samsung LM301s but you can put a little more light out if you're running smaller lights with an even spread, plus most of my LEDs are Epistar, SMD, or similar. Not quite as efficient as the Samsungs but they can be found for hella cheap on Amazon and still produce top shelf.

Anyone else think its funny that he's using co2 with a mars light? That light isn't even strong enough to overpower a plant, I mean maybe if it was a inch over the canopy.. :wall:
Killed co2.... bwaaaahaaaa learned alot on that.... ordered philizon 2020 2000s series lite . Can I switch it out in bloom from. Mars ts1000 without harm now????

Ten minutes on RIU today and I've read two threads with fugazi "growers" dispensing shit advice and/or posting lifted pics while asking for help, then arguing with the people trying to provide it. Is it 2010 again, back when people only came here to troll?
It's a pandemic!

Co2 should be the last thing to add to a grow. And only when everything else is dialed in, the grower is experienced enough to have excellent harvests with healthy plants start to finish, and has nothing else to improve upon. Co2 in itself is not going to work magic. Better/more lighting than that 150 watt light would have been a better use of the money spent and would have directly impacted yield and quality. But for some reason many new growers jump straight to Co2 without having ever finished a grow.

But gotta give the OP credit for at least getting some real equipment instead of hanging one of those completely worthless Co2 bags in the tent.

Yes we should be giving him positive feedback rather than all these negative posts telling him he has wasted time and money.
The worst is the negative posters have no actual real life experience with Co2 and just quote other people or simply say what they think not what they know.
When they get questioned about what they say they hav a sissy fit and start abuse.
Because they dont have any answers from experience, just like a bookworm.

Been growing 11 years.
Shall I pull up all the bad information you’ve given?
