Hey guys! This is my first time grow. I chose White Widow autoflower seeds that I got off cropkingseeds. I also have a discord for marijuana journals. If you want to start a journal there too (called Marijauna Journals), here is the link: https://discord.com/invite/BpXSngmJgw

I will also post the meat and potatoes from the Marijuana Journals on this post too! So here is what I have so far.
So far I have a 5x5 grow tent, SPIDER FARMER SF-4000 LED Grow light, a AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6, Quiet 6” Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity Controller, a propagator for my little seedings, a fan, ducting, a humidity/temperature meter, and 2 humidifiers running.

The ones in the green tub in the front are my newly sprouted white widow sprouts. The plants in the back are random tester seeds that my friend gave me. I started those ones off with a crappy LED light before I got my tent and setup started. I figure that I can fit 5 white widow plants in my 5x5 grow room, but who knows?

Ooo northern lights, nice dude! I've been doing a lot of research, so maybe I can help you too. lemme know if you start a journal somewhere. I'll follow yours as well.

OK guys, I have a question. So for my tester seedlings (larger ones pictured in back) seem to be getting yellowing on the leaves. Is this from light bleaching? I lowered my light to 30" from the top of my germinated white widows (in front) because the first 2 that sprouted got too stretchy. It seemed to have fixed the stretch for the later developing ones, but now I think the light may be hitting my tester seedlings in back.

The dimmer was set to 60%, but I just reduced it to 40%. Will lowering the dimmer help with the light bleaching? I'd hate to raise the LED light back again, as my seedlings were getting too tall.

Hmmm maybe. I think I just need to plant them in some new soil. That soil is a seedling soil with no nutrients.

Based on her cotyledons (gone) I would say she is hungry. Or just not watered enough. I have also tried “seedling mix” and needed to pot-up plant once she shown first serrated leaves with huge Ca def. These mixes have really nothing inside them. Problem is that you are already in quite big container with that one plant. I would give her some small snack. Also be carefull of the light, they really do not need so much light in this stage of life, follow manufacturer recommendation untill you get to know how to use it. Good luck!

No. I went with Black Gold for my first grow. Next grow I plan to mix my own medium.
Oh, my bad lol! I see what you mean. No, The first pots were seedling mix.

For my liking you have watered them quite too much but its just me. Also have you your pots risen from the saucer somehow? It looks like you are leaving them soaking in their own runoff... your temps?

I believe you should. Not sure about organics thou, I have read somewhere there is common practice to let the extra runoff soak back in, but can be wrong here. I waste all my runoff.

interesting. I'll see if my runoff depletes. I saw on a grow video from MR. Canucks grow on youtube where he let it soak back in, but I think it was only during the first water. Maybe I will start sucking out that runoff. Oh, I just checked and most of the runoff sucked back in already.

I should be getting my quantum PAR meter in the mail today! So here is a question. If my plants are getting the correct amount of light intensity required, does it matter if my lights are higher/lower than manufacturer recommendations? And dimmer. does that matter what I dim to as long as the PAR readings are spot on?

OK! I got some new gadgets! The tester seeds are taking to their new homes very well, and they definitely like the feed that came in it. So I got my quantum par meter in today, and raised my lights to where my white widows are getting roughly 200. The tester seeds in the bigger pots may have lost a little of the light intensity, but my main focus is the white widow autoflorwers. I also got my soil PH pen and regular ph meter in the mail, along with my floragrow nutrients that I plan on using in a couple of weeks. So my soil PH tested to 5.4 for the seedling mix in the little pots, and 5.8 for my big pots. Do I need to raise the soil PH in any of these, and if so, how?

Would it be OK to transplant my 1 week old white widows into hot soil? Black Gold soil. I think I'm gonna try it.
