Thanks for the tip!!Ascorbic acid makes the dechlorinating water and whatnot a lot easier too. Best of luck!

A qubic yard is 425 in Canada, supersoil, check out Black Sparrow Soils they may ship. They ship smaller stuff. The basics are available at most lawn and garden centers. Or online. I get almost 60 gallons for just under $150 with my mix. And only due to brand name loyalty ATM.
Thay shouldnt need food yet, ph meter is first, do you have one?I haven't amended the soil with anything.
There are soils that you can go start to finish, but I couldn't find any out here without ordering.
I may stop by my hydroponics store this afternoon to see if they can help me out. I'll ask about a top dress, etc.
Absorbic acid is lowering ph, which it needs no doubt ph meter?Plants are seeming ro bounce back
They were very dry. Im starting to learn what they life for watering.
They seemed to like the filtered water. I also mixed up some Mykos and added them to the soil. Some water, Great white mykos, and a few drops of organic agave syrup to give the microbes a boost.
No PH meter yet.Thay shouldnt need food yet, ph meter is first, do you have one?
I understand that.Absorbic acid is lowering ph, which it needs no doubt ph meter?
Wow you're lucky. Where I live the pH of our tap water is over 8.5. They use sodium hydroxide though in my city to raise pH, so it's very easy to buffer at least. So far seems our tapwater here is nearly spot on at about 6.5ish +- .1
Wow thats really high!!!Wow you're lucky. Where I live the pH of our tap water is over 8.5. They use sodium hydroxide though in my city to raise pH, so it's very easy to buffer at least.
Yeah but it's not unusual for Canadian town/city utility water. The problem is that we have a lot of older infrastructure in our country with pipes dating back decades (1974 and older), both in parts of mains connections and even within individual residences. So water companies raise the pH high enough to provide a safety buffer. A big mistake in pH level could easily lead to a generation of children with brain damage and developmental issues due to high levels of dissolved lead from our deteriorating infrastructure. I guess that's one way to motivate politicians and corporations to upgrade this shit rather than just raising water pH.Wow thats really high!!!

I germinated them in there. I had limited pots. Why are you placing multiple plants in one pot?
This isn't common
Bad methodI germinated them in there. I had limited pots.
The plan is to replant them tonight individually.
I appreciate the tip.Bad method
Tiny hairs on roots of seedling get damaged transplanting seedlings usually leading to stunted plants
Good luck but trust me people don't do that for a reason not because they have extra pots
Try a ladle or large spoon and keep the coco with the rootI appreciate the tip.
Thank you.
I will have to replant at least a few. I will make sure I am extra careful, don't want to stunt the growth. But thank you for pointing out the risk.
