Plants are seeming ro bounce back
They were very dry. Im starting to learn what they life for watering.

They seemed to like the filtered water. I also mixed up some Mykos and added them to the soil. Some water, Great white mykos, and a few drops of organic agave syrup to give the microbes a boost.

I haven't amended the soil with anything.
There are soils that you can go start to finish, but I couldn't find any out here without ordering.

I may stop by my hydroponics store this afternoon to see if they can help me out. I'll ask about a top dress, etc.
Thay shouldnt need food yet, ph meter is first, do you have one?

Absorbic acid is lowering ph, which it needs no doubt ph meter?

A few of the girls are bouncing back after a careful, full watering!
May have over did it on the large pot. But other than that the girls look good. New growth is nice and green.

I'll post pics later.

Let one of the grape pupils go.
Didn't make it.
2 of the purple sponge regs are doing well.
2 of grape pupils are doing ok.
I'm vastly improving how I water.

The lost plant has been replaced by a small/medium pot. Planted the rest of my Chick Magnet seeds. I think 4 or 5.
Hoping for the best.

Replanted everything.
Using 70/30 mix
70% Coco.
30% 707 potting soil.

Talked to the guys at the slightly less local hydroponics store. They are just further away from home. But I will definitely be back.
They told me the Bu's Blend potting soil is wayyyy too hot for seedlings. Had me try the 70/30 blend. May try 60/40 next time to see if I notice a difference. I'll post pics later tonight.

Currently in the garden I have
3 Chick Magnet (fem)
8? Jenkees F2 (reg)

Really hoping this works out. I think I'm finally getting the watering down. Had no idea the soil i bought was way too hot for seedlings. Glad they helped out. And thanks for everyone's advice. Finally am PHing. So far seems our tapwater here is nearly spot on at about 6.5ish +- .1

Well. They look pretty happy!20210522_184701.jpg20210522_184708.jpg20210522_184711.jpg20210522_184714.jpg20210522_184715.jpg

The plant with 2 seedlings was just replanted. Now only has 1 seedling. The other was added to the other large pot.

Wow thats really high!!!
Yeah but it's not unusual for Canadian town/city utility water. The problem is that we have a lot of older infrastructure in our country with pipes dating back decades (1974 and older), both in parts of mains connections and even within individual residences. So water companies raise the pH high enough to provide a safety buffer. A big mistake in pH level could easily lead to a generation of children with brain damage and developmental issues due to high levels of dissolved lead from our deteriorating infrastructure. I guess that's one way to motivate politicians and corporations to upgrade this shit rather than just raising water pH. :(

Hope they fix the infrastructure first!

I germinated them in there. I had limited pots.
The plan is to replant them tonight individually.
Bad method

Tiny hairs on roots of seedling get damaged transplanting seedlings usually leading to stunted plants
Good luck but trust me people don't do that for a reason not because they have extra pots

I appreciate the tip.
Thank you.

I will have to replant at least a few. I will make sure I am extra careful, don't want to stunt the growth. But thank you for pointing out the risk.
