that makes no sense. i'm hoping that was a joke.Buzz killington over here!
booo! get off the stage!
*throws fruit*
plenty son, plenty of un-needed jobs. Thats why there are so few needed jobs. Duhhhh
i did not, actually. i said it could make you sound like one.awwww...bubba, did you call me a jackass?!?!?
If you don't get it than it wasn't meant to bethat makes no sense. i'm hoping that was a joke.
fair enough. If you don't get it than it wasn't meant to be
You need to do some research bro you are trying to debate with me but you don't even know what the Military Industrial complex is. Look it up its not my job to educate you. Iraq is mostly land for pipelines to be built, new transportation routes for oil from friendly countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, blocks out a big portion of the Russian oil market as well.i'll start in reverse order so my train of thought isn't broken.
oil, are you kidding? name the last time the price of oil went down because of the iraqi occupation? even better (without wikipedia now), can you tell me if iraq was a member of OPEC before the war?
what is "un-needed" labor? are those the "un-needed" jobs we don't have here? and did you just say "this is what we call the "Military Inustrial Complex." what the fuck is that supposed to mean? that makes NO sense, my friend. and as far as "spoils of war" being distributed to "poor person"s, the first ever professional army was based on that exact fact. look it up then get back to me.
oooooooh i loooooooooove this. every time i go to a new forum, someone always says i need to "do some research" because i ask them questions to confirm what i usually already know about their sociological/political views. you make a mistake dismissing someone who asks a question. i know what the MIC is. i only asked you to see if you had a clue enough to supply factual evidence (proof that you actually research what you talk about) regarding what you assume and (seem to hope that others won't ask for) won't do anything but dismiss those who want to do the "due dillgence" you've most assuredly done to base your opionons on.You need to do some research bro you are trying to debate with me but you don't even know what the Military Industrial complex is. Professional armies are raised by rich men that back powerful governments . . . generals paid their soldiers with plunder but most of them lost their life because the general could not afford to feed them on long engagements and hostile occupations. And don't forget to pay the king his "till" (early tax on income). Sorry buddy its war no one wins
And you are right we all NEED "productive" jobs, my point is if we were not so obsessed as a society with war we would be more productive at solving our domestic problems. Domestic problems that are becoming big . . .*cough* the economy but we would rather go send our youth to die in the desert in the name of a DEAD technology. Look up America's energy addiction or Peak Oil. All of it starts to make sense when you look at it. Peak Oil is not a problem because of LACK of oil but the problem is HUGE constant demand for that oil. We simply can not pump enough oil and the oil that we would need would require us to drill farther and farther offshore and in more remote locations increasing costs of drilling to a point that it is no longer cost effective to drill for oil.
This is the larger picture I am discussing until you see the whole picture you will continue to believe we fight and altruistic crusade in Iraq.
No I just don't want to waste my time debating something blatantly obvious to the rest of the world . . . And anybody can Google buddy its not my job to do it for you, I have other things to do.oooooooh i loooooooooove this. every time i go to a new forum, someone always says i need to "do some research" because i ask them questions to confirm what i usually already know about their sociological/political views. you make a mistake dismissing someone who asks a question. i know what the MIC is. i only asked you to see if you had a clue enough to supply factual evidence (proof that you actually research what you talk about) regarding what you assume and (seem to hope that others won't ask for) won't do anything but dismiss those who want to do the "due dillgence" you've most assuredly done to base your opionons on.
if you want to go back an forth with me about facts, fine. i encourage it. but show me FACTS. you won't and assume i'll accept it as fact. it doesn't work that way. show me (factually) where you've researched it and i'm wrong, and i'll concede the point (solely on the basis of superior logic) otherwise, i've done the research, and i'll continue to own you.

I have seen footage of Iraqi's burning that very flag.one day many years from now you will grudgingly know that what we did in Iraq was a great thing.
you are too narrow in heart to see it now, but one day you will know it and hate the fact that you know.
history will never let you forget,
