Also @myke am I right in thinking the v2.0 is going to hold even pressure better across the whole system now that it’s one ring with 4mm branches off it?

It also mixes the nutrients, and reduce back pressure on the pump. Also a place to hook a hose to drain res if needed.

So pump is 100g/hr,I would use the same size as what comes from pump whats that 1/2" 13mm. So 13mm T and valve short piece of hose maybe a 90 to point it down.Maybe pump is to small dont know, whats flow of sprayers?

Sprayers can run between 0-73 litres per hour pump dependant but I’m running them as drips over a 15min cycle.

I have 13mm ID from the pump up to the connection for the current rings.

on the new v2.0 the pump supply pipe will have an elbow out of the tote to connect to the pipe for the v2.0 connection.

Your just trying to reduce back pressure,if you choke the flow those barb connectors will leak. Also hard on the pump.
So wide open 73x4= 292 pump is 400.

Also got some of these coming

8LPH to see how they work.

thinking with the T that you mentioned on the supply up from the pump these even at full pressure will only allow 8 litres per hour through them with the diaphragm etc.

2 emitters per plant for 15mins will provide 2litres through each emitter making 4Litres total for the 15mins.

run pump on full with the T inside the tote for the “mixing” like you mentioned and it should work as needed.

will let you know how I get on.

Will be adding the drip system v2.0 tonight before first watering.

question to those who have created something similar @Star Dog or @bk78

Should I add one of these

In line with the 4mm drippers for greater flow control? Baring in mind the drippers allow control by turning them.

Sorry I just seen this tag. I can’t help you man sorry. I just spent the $30 on the floraflex manifolds so I wouldn’t have to deal with adjusting pressures and shit like this. Hope you get them dialled in soon

cheers bk

Hi Jon I use them sometimes when I have different sizes of pots they're ideal for fine tuning.
What I learned is the taps have to be above the reservoir or the they'll leak.
I initially set them up at the manifold but with them leaking slightly due water pressure I had to move them to the pots so they sat above water the level.

I use a micro jet mj450 pump it has a flow control, they're also reasonably cheap at £15 and very reliable I've bought 3 in 10/12 years and 2 are still working.

@Star Dog @myke v2.0 installed.

I’ll admit I haven’t done the T piece yet and will most likely wait until this grow is done before adding it into the system so that I can check it when it’s not in use rather than it being Live.

All my connections other than the Elbow out of the tote are within the edges of the pots just incase of additional drips same too for the 4mm branches and there connectors.

was rather hot and sweaty removing the old rings and adding the v2.0 lol.

@MidnightSun72 i remember you were interested in any alterations I did on this.

flow is really even to each of these drippers once the pump fills the pipe work.

@curious2garden thought you might like to see mine today.
Cool your jets hun you still have another week at least but you'd have to take a pic under natural light for me to be sure :) Then it's a week of lights out and moving them to the bathroom so they can hear you flush after that I think it's a crucifixion and you can chop :)

You got a ways to go!
