Would 1 600w hps be enough for a 4x4? I wanted to get a Zeus 600 but way to expensive for me rn
I want to setup a 4x4 tent would one 600w hps be enough?

A 600 watt HPS will do pretty good in a 4 x 4. That's how I got started in tents.
But theorically it's just a little bit underpowered to fully light up the whole 16 square feet. Eventually you'll want to upgrade to 1000 watts of HPS. To avoid buying twice, get a 1000 watt digital ballast that I'd dimmable to 600 watts. Start off with 600 watt bulbs to be your feet wet. Then once you're comfortable dealing with ventilation and heat bump up to 1000 watt bulbs.
After a few harvests you'll be able to upgrade to a 4 x 8 tent and two Zeus 600 LEDs.
