It's about killing the larvae/eggs. Azamax or Azasol always does the trick for me...Sticky traps for the adults. Hope this helps

If the BTI is not doing the job, you sure they’re not root aphids? Have you scoped them?Anybody ever use this as a top soil spray for fungus gnats?, or is it just a waste of time.... I battle FG's every grow it seems. I've tried sticky traps, mosquito dunks in my mix tank (in a netted bag)... they seem to just appear out of nowhere. I rarely see one flying around, but I capture some when I lay out the sticky traps. Or maybe can I mix it in with my feed?
I’m not using BTI yet… and yes, I have a 1200x’s microscope, and know the difference between the 2. Never had winged root aphids, but always these damn FG’s.If the BTI is not doing the job, you sure they’re not root aphids? Have you scoped them?
You are using BTI, The Mosquito dunks have bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (BTI) in themI’m not using BTI yet… and yes, I have a 1200x’s microscope, and know the difference between the 2. Never had winged root aphids, but always these damn FG’s.
I said I have used them in the past... I have not started a dose of it this round.... so far. Looking for better solutions. It worked ok, but still had them on traps all throughout the last grow. MF'ers are relentless. I even had Springtails last grow. You are using BTI, The Mosquito dunks have bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (BTI) in them
springtails are beneficial however too much of anything is no goodI said I have used them in the past... I have not started a dose of it this round.... so far. Looking for better solutions. They didn't hurt anything to my knowledge. I scoped alot of my buds looking for "foreign" matter because that's what the lab looks for as well. I gather up our lab samples and put them all under the microscope looking for hair, fabric material, bugs, whatever. But yeah, I bombed the room after the last grow.springtails are beneficial however too much of anything is no good

Is that just a more concentrated form of BTI than the mosquito dunks?BTi in the res.

Yes. Much more concentrated. Is that just a more concentrated form of BTI than the mosquito dunks?
I've heard good stuff about this bti, even from people who used the bits first and it didn't work. And there's Grow Generation in OK too. I have one here a couple miles away. What's crazy is I'm in a little mountain town. But there main location is down the hill in Denver. Awesome place. And you'll get a discount if you have an account. You'd get a better discount than me since you're much larger scale.NICE!.... I've looked at Gnatrol, and it's expensive as hell!.. This looks like a good knock down for cheap!.. thanks Tint!
Oh fuck, I didn't even realize that link was to the shit I was talking about, lol. Fucking stoners.BTi in the res.

Come on brotha!... and thanks!Your space looks really nice Double. Last thing you need or deserve are pesky gnats.
One of these days Imma road trip to OK!
Yes, I've heard that, but I don't water until the absolutely need it, and I weigh the pots on a scale to be sure. For the past three weeks, I have waited until each plant wilted to be absolutely sure I cannot wait any longer, plus I have a fan down below blowing directly on the pots to dry them out. Hasn't made any difference. Are you maybe overwatering your plants? I'm not sure about a commercial grow, but there's no reason to be going to those lengths to get rid of gnats.
They are probably under the root crown and repopulating, may need a BTi/etc root soak to get everything treated.Yes, I've heard that, but I don't water until the absolutely need it, and I weigh the pots on a scale to be sure.
