Amen Brother! I went to 10 gallon pots and 8 plants instead of 4 in 45’s with that same thought... maintaining at 7’ is a challenge, I can’t imagine trying to maintain being on a 15’ ladder… can you say vertigo! Lol but they’re still surprising me they’re at 5’-6’ to date already and the 5’ are topped to 8 colas too. Sunshine!!Yeah me three (although this year’s genetics are what is keeping the plants reasonably sized rather than any conscious effort on my part). Because while it was certainly an interesting experience growing 15 foot monstahs last year, I can’t say that I miss teetering way up on a ladder to monitor them!
You just a jizz collecting fool, lol. I'm dying to try jt. You let them get that big before you cut them? Almost ready to pop? Or actually popping somewhere away from your girls?Took half of this Sholgar guy down to collect his jizz for seed runs today, final height was exactly 7 feet.

Gromie don't do ladders no more. Not since that last one put me on a life flight in a helicopter. Actually I wait until I see a few of the male flowers start to open up before cutting branches for pollen collection - it doesn’t bother me to get occasional rogue seeds on the girls. Here is a pic I took last night showing Sholgar 3 with a couple of random seeds that look to be a couple of weeks along, that could only have been produced by the earlier flowering of the two Sholgar males -You just a jizz collecting fool, lol. I’ve been a monkey my whole life, when I was 8 my grandfather would send me up his 55 foot ham radio tower to make repairs and adjustments to the antenna at the top. These days he’d probably be in jail for that lol.Gromie don't do ladders no more. Not since that last one put me on a life flight in a helicopter. No more ladders.
Yea, I still do the old tree stand thing in hunting season, only now, I have the wide ladder, and Double wide platform, specifically designed for fat old guys. Still got a few climbing sticks, but I just don't have the climbing desires I used to.I’ve been a monkey my whole life, when I was 8 my grandfather would send me up his 55 foot ham radio tower to make repairs and adjustments to the antenna at the top. Hmmm, I ended up with some really big calyxs at the junction of the big leaves, and it looked like there'd be big seeds in there, but the womb was empty.Actually I wait until I see a few of the male flowers start to open up before cutting branches for pollen collection - it doesn’t bother me to get occasional rogue seeds on the girls. What’s interesting is that even though she is obviously fertile and has been for a while now, I would still classify the female plant as in pre-flower - even though I am seeing single stigma popping out at more and more sites on her branches, it probably won’t be until after the middle of this month that I will start seeing multiple stigma showing up in the same spot.
I have a trap called the chipmunkinator that is effective and safe.View attachment 5169100

Can we see it? Is it yours or something commercially available?I have a trap called the chipmunkinator that is effective and safe.
Well I looked up the “Chipmunkinator”… pretty elaborate. A bit more than I think I need but thanks @Karnath for the heads up. Lists between $45-$55 depending on where you’re looking. I think I’ll just stick with the $.97 wood meat skewers and 4@$2 “.17 hmr” mouse trap option for now. LolBtw thats what i call my .17 hmr lol its also safe and effective . In my hands anyway lol
