One of the best is the D2 jig which trout and lots of fish can't seem to resist.

I had a day and a half. I went to go out on a small pond by me in a small trolling boat. I get there and realized I forgot the batteries..... Drive back home and grab the batteries. I decide I don't want to drive back to that spot as I am already pissed about it so I go closer to home.
I head out into the brackish water by me and begin Flipping around a jig on my new MBR rod. I get a bite I set the hook and I'm on with a 22 inch striper. Get him in and man am I pleased. I take the lure out of him mouth and take my picture. I dump him back in and look for my rod....
Ummm where's my new rod.....
Well fuck me... my new rod and a Curado DC reel are now gone. I'm fishing in this tiny cut off off the main slough so I pick up a rattle trap and decided I'm going to try to get that rod and reel back. I cast and drag the rattle trap hoping a treble grabs that rod. The treble grabs something and just snags up. I try to get it free and while I am the rod I was using breaks in fucking half.
So 2 rods 1 reel gone. The rod that broke will get replaced under warranty. But the new rod is just gone.
But hey I did get this guy so not all bad.

With the water temp hitting the 50s largemouth season is basically over here. I am turning to striper fishing as you can see lol.
About 2 hours out there. 2 bites 1 hookup.
21 inch striper.
The other boats were kind of pissed that I tossed it back. Fish are flat out lucky if I catch them because I don't eat fish. I'm always catching and release. Unless I'm with actual friends who eat fish. Then it might not go back lol.
