How about these guys. Another oldie but goodie. They are playing at the Independent in Asbury Park next month. Don’t you love these small venues?. They are the only ones I like to attend anymore. The only band I see myself in a large venue is for Tool
And hoping they tour next year because they like to do three venues in NJ back to back . Have you been Tool before?

i do like the small venues too. i finally saw a show at the Ogden in denver which is from the 20's i think? really old school.

Alright, summer is over.
The blow off scent from opening the can was amazing.
Chocolate and vanilla all over the place.

Honestly Not impressed with the Jersey and New York beer scene so far. The best east coast I have found is from Maryland. The art work is total rad .

I've noticed you're into the IPA's. They're a style I'm not too crazy about, so if you, or anyone else, can suggest one, preferably found in Canada, I'm all ears. I tend toward Pilsner and darker beer styles if that helps.

There’s an IPA for everyone.
I might try a NE IPA or Hazy first.
They tend to be less bitter, and more citrusy.
Or a Session IPA which is lighter on the hops and body.

I still feel so dumb for drinking this vey special six pack they brewed to help us fire survivors. I sware i planned on never opening even one of them.

it was pretty good though. I drank em out of a can and I hate drinking good beers out of a can.

Love Sierra Nevada. But it belongs in a bottle, . I see they changed the logo of the Celebration Ale. This is what I remember, but I haven't gotten one lately. I've got a Sierra Nevada mirror hanging on my wall too.

I hear that. I had a collection of older Sierra Nevada beers in bottles (of course) that I had bought on the Internet. One day I was out of weed and everything and decided to drink one. Well fuck me I ended up drinking them all,

They've been brewing it for decades but it's definitely not the same recipe it was 30 years ago. They've dialed it down over the years. I loved the bitterness of the hops that were like a slap to the face years ago. Now it's just another hoppy IPA style. Nothing like it used to be.

It's still good but just mellowed down and adapted for a larger market segment vs the hard core hop lovers like myself and many others.
