I would be a bit disappointed if the actual operation was just to charge him with a crime, and not to get “all” of the documents back. If in fact they are/were a threat to your national security? The charging/conviction is a real tasty frosting though. They chose to stop searching after recovering thousands of pages of stolen document and didn't need any more evidence, perhaps?
Will do. BTW, I'm looking for directors.Sounds feasible …….keep me posted. Send me the promo folder and I’ll have a peek .
At Maralago they had informants telling them where the documents are. It might have been a stretch searching all his properties. They chose to stop searching after recovering thousands of pages of stolen document and didn't need any more evidence, perhaps?
considering the nature of the contraband, I find it hard to believe that warrants wouldn’t have been issued for the asking. At Maralago they had informants telling them where the documents are. It might have been a stretch searching all his properties.
I think after this latest fiasco Jack will be asking...considering the nature of the contraband, I find it hard to believe that warrants wouldn’t have been issued for the asking.

They do the leg work and are the initial "point of contact", but Jack gets the warrants and after the latest news about more documents found, I figure he will, though this search warrant could be accompanied by an arrest warrant. His lawyers will soon be given a choice, he either turns himself in, or they come get him and purp walk him to the judge.I think that’s the FBI’s job.
Sorry, past president. You disagree?he isn’t
I’m reminded of Garland’s passionate affirmation of the rule of law. I don’t think his former status will give that man much if any dispensation.Sorry, past president. You disagree?
Then why do you think the DoJ has been soft on him? Because of his hair? Would another ordinary person have been treated the same way?I’m reminded of Garland’s passionate affirmation of the rule of law. I don’t think his former status will give that man much if any dispensation.
I don’t know. It might be wishful thinking, but since I believe that it is important to bring down the other big conspirators, I’m hoping that DOJ is holding fire on a sure thing until they have some other big fish in the net. It is the only legitimate scenario I can construct, and the failure to perform a coordinated search on Mr. Classified Documents’s other properties weakens it.Then why do you think the DoJ has been soft on him? Your immediate satisfaction is not considered to be important in this investigation nor should it be.I don’t know. I am reduced to waiting and watching in unsatisfied ignorance.
was I suggesting that?Your immediate satisfaction is not considered to be important in this investigation nor should it be.
That changes the moment he appears before a federal Judge in DC for a plea hearing on his indictment over the documents. That is the equality under the law Judge Garland was speaking of, it will make no difference to the judge what Donald's last job was, there is no provision under the law for ex presidents and that process begins with indictment. The courts cannot treat him any differently than others charged with similar crimes and that goes for sentencing too. Prosecutors have broad discretion as to how, when or even if they proceed with indictments, however once the hammer drops the countdown clock begins, along with equality under the law. Then why do you think the DoJ has been soft on him? Because of his hair? Would another ordinary person have been treated the same way?
You seemed to be whining about it. "I am reduced to waiting and watching in unsatisfied ignorance. "was I suggesting that?
