Super awesome rainbow fishing at Shasta in the summer. Only shitty thing is those bows will have some copepods on em. Even though the thermocline will be down around 90’ i never have understood that. But theres some BIG ones in there and a shit ton of 4-6lbers. I’ll usually troll with my Kokanee rods to make it even funner. Which they also have kokes in there again and the kings are doing good too.
I don’t remember exactly when but i’m off the water come October. It slows down big time and I don’t start fishing there until I hear it in the reports which is usually around june when that thermocline really drops and concentrates the bait fish(shad)

My great uncle's fishing shed, notice the state big fish citations on the walls.He was master angler for small mouth four times (40).Expert angler times 2 (10 different species citations size).
Was gona say, that looks like a retired man's garage. Wish I had the time to organize like that! I'd need a few more walls though
