a country that had already been fighting since 2014, against a country with the largest stockpile of nukes on the planet, that has three times their population, that was supposed to be one of the best armed forces in the world, that has absolutely no problem bombing civilians...
A country that now has to worry about fascist fucks like elon muck cutting off their communications, who have to worry about fascist fucks in several governments throwing monkey wrenches into multiple plans...A country that has had to fight a defensive fight, when they've had a lot of opportunities to take the fighting to the russians, because we and the rest of nato are shamelessly using them, and restraining them because we fear putin's reaction..A country that has had to beg for effective weapons to fight the fight we're too fucking cowardly to fight ourselves?
what makes you think they might be nearing a snapping point? while some asshats keep crowing about bleeding putin dry, the fucking Ukrainians are the ones doing the bleeding...
A lot of good points, there is always the fear and concern that Ukraine will be left in the lurch here and end up embittered, the Euro countries especially France and Germany may yet bail out or start getting pissy leading to cracks in unity, those two are the most likely to cause dissention down the road IMO. France is a notorious contrarian and the Germans are surely looking for a way out. They are closer to the action so I can't dismiss their concern but if I have to speculate on cracks occurring that's where I'd look.Politics ARE going to be the engine that ends this eventually and I hope it doesn't result in Ukraine feeling stabbed in the back by duplicit Western pols.

By “embittered” I think you mean “completely overrun”.

What about reps.those were the days…there were some bad ass mofos with a lot of reps. They were the top dogs. I loved getting reps. I was getting there! I could have been a contender! But they got rid of it because they didn’t want nobody to have any feel good recognition.
That was before my time. Anyway, all my stats have to be divided by a couple three Larry's.

True, but not worried about France and Germany’s commitment till at least 2026 (next elections). France being contrarian isn’t always reluctance, it’s more that they/Macron wants to portray the role of a world power/leader, to be relevant internationally. He just needs to be thrown a bone once in a while, as in ok Macron let’s go with your idea. As for Germany, I see no reason to doubt their commitment long and short term, on the contrary, the sleeping giant has been awakened.

The relationship between France and Germany is an essential pillar of the EU, it’s in everyone’s interest to keep it healthy. One of the reasons it’s not always going smoothly is because Germany is basically more pro-USA/transatlantic and France is and wants Germany to be (even) more pro-EU. France has the strongest military in the EU, Germany the most economic power. Macron is the nr1 proponent of a european army.

From 6 months before the war:

Also, as always, it’s all about the money, economic interests. One way or the other, there is good money in supporting Ukraine. Everyone wants a piece of the pie.

After all the complaining rethoric about Germany in recent weeks it’ll soon become clear who puts their money where their mouth is.

We will be able to help Turkey much more. Syria is at war with itself and the government is trying to starve that part of the country anyway, so they are not going to allow much aid to get through.
Right, humanitarian..Erdogan needs to get on the phone like he has before, and call his friends..he's a threat to our democracy and I haven't forgotten his strongmen beating up Americans on his last visit to the Dumpster.

This is why you want to play fair and be good neighbors in Global Community because you never know what's going to happen and who you will need. Media had a local story on Turkish accepting donations in Denver..panned to people sitting ready for a meeting of some sort..I couldn't help to notice the look on the faces of two Turks dressed in traditional garments..front row of six on the end, plenty of representation..looked as if they were being put out (stink eye) and that there was a bad smell in the room. Can someone explain this to me? Their faces are stuck on 'scowl' like great-grandma used to say it would be if you didn't smile. It takes way more muscles to scowl than smile.

Say their names..this is war.

Finland has yet to indicate whether it will provide tanks or other forms of assistance, such as maintenance,” a Finnish official told POLITICO.

Sweden, another partner that initially seemed open to sending Leopards, also hasn’t yet decided what to do. Spain said it is currently refurbishing older Leopard 2 A4 tanks, but it is unclear when they will arrive in Ukraine, and how many of them. Meanwhile, Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa said Wednesday his country would deliver three Leopard 2 tanks — less than Berlin had hoped for. Canada said it would send four Leopards.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte had similarly previously raised the possibility that The Hague could buy some of the Leopard 2 tanks it currently leases from Germany and send them to Ukraine. But Rutte was evasive at the EU summit on Thursday, saying only, “that’s something we’re [still] discussing with our partners.”

Rutte also suggested that, instead of sending Leopard 2s to Ukraine, the Netherlands might send those tanks to Lithuania to reinforce NATO’s eastern flank.

German officials say Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and even Scholz himself have worked the phones in recent days to urge allies to step up, as Spiegel first reported. A failure to rally sufficient support could boomerang on Scholz, given his claims that he coordinated his tank decision closely with allies.

Poland too..who's right next to Ukraine; ready to be invaded. Putin has pledged 'to change the world'..wake the fuck up!

Where is Putin getting his soldiers?' Aren't they all dead pretty much?
