Today they turned seven weeks from seed drop.
I think you might be right about transplant and I'll check into dirt today/tomorrow. Thanks. I'm thinking 3 gallon pots and have to see which soil brands the hydro shop carries.
Just seed and dirt?
Momentarily I'm headed to the hydro store looking for soil.
The other day I saw this $WMT:
The thing is the plants do look like something is wrong. Transplantation makes sense.
So anyway before I went to the hydro store I tried testing my second LED fixture and it didn't turn on. I had it set up and the fixture illuminated last test. I open the back and unbelievably a wire flew out at me. Like someone went into the fixture and deliberately setup a wire to fling out. But this cannot be. In disbelief I set the fixture aside and head to the hydro store.
I get to the hydro store and it's closed up. Everything is gone. Out of business.
Cruise to hydro store two. I wanted to avoid this store based on past ROI convos regarding buggy FFOF. But what can I do? I pass the store because all the lights are out. I circle back and find this place is 'permanently closed'.
And then on the way back I stop at Big Orange for "Black Magic" soil and they no longer carry the stuff.
The weed gods are picking my wings off.

Buying organic soil at the hydro store? Ain't no garden center/plant nursery places nearby?
So funny as I was grumbling on my way home thinking the same thing. "Hydro store for dirt. None of this even makes sense." But we read the other posts where people are pissing on plants to fend off PM so I must continue on.
I'll have to find a new hydro store/garden center that carry specialized soils.
For some reason most of the hydro stores by me went out of business/closed the physical portions of their businesses but I found another that's supposed to be open.
On the website of this store Coast of Maine seems to be in inventory. I figure I'll need 3 cu ft of soil for six 3 gal pots so will buy one of each so...
2 pots pure FFOF.
2 pots pure CoM.
And possibly 2 pots custom blend.
But since I may have a watering issue I may fill the bottom 25% of each pot with perlite. In this case I'll have three CoM and 3 FFOF.

I mentioned the bugs but like the canned website these hydro store operators seem to use canned responses, bless their heart. I offered to bring the plants in-store for help but was declined, "You can't do that.". LOL Like trying to show hemorrhoids to the tele-medicine associate.

I didn't see that at the hydro store. but didn't really get a chance to walk around the place. The staff was overly helpful. I said I'm just looking. "What are you looking for?" I asked about CoM and the clerk started rattling until I left.
Operation Transplant complete.

I haven't watered them yet. How much water should I give and should the water be PH'd? Tap water is probably 8.
The root zones seems to indicate these should have been transplanted already.

The plants lived through the night so as a reward each got a 16 ounce cool drink of plain, un-PH'd water.
I turned the LED fixture to 100%.
Today I noticed depending on where/how I hold the Samsung the color temp varied. See the color differences?
From the pics in the last post at this point I think there were environment issues and as those corrected the plants became root bound in the cups so this transplant should be the answer to the message sent by the weed gods. If this is the case these plants should start exploding over the next day or two.

The water should definitely be ph’d. 8 is too high by a decent margin and could well be the cause of some of your growth issues. A couple/few drops of ph down corrects for this really easily. Fwiw, I’m dealing with my own ph issues atm. But your plants are pretty underdeveloped for their age. Keep things simple. Use your new soil and water with ph’d water when dry. We’re learning together, if you take a look at my recent thread about nutes. Careful about giving too much light too quickly; they look a little susceptible atm. Good luck.
I have a BlueLabs PH meter and can PH. Will do so next watering.

Here is a link to my thread with questions about nutrients. Someone suggested low ph as an issue, which is a likely culprit, though high ph presents problems too. More current pics of the grow towards to bottom of the first page. These spouted Jan 2, for reference.

Thanks for all of the expertise here. I’m about 50 days into this grow (my second with the current setup). Things are moving along pretty well, but as flowering develops, some leaves are showing signs of stress or deficiency. Front and rear right are Runtz auto, rear left is Skywalker OG auto...
