Put down new floors and re-hab'd the living room and updated the dining room. plus a lot of painting throughout the house.
loved the car, awesome to drive. 2000 XK8 only 34k miles on it when sold last july.
it wasnt getting driven enough, plus it was coming up on some very pricey maintenance...timing chains, rubber bushings, etc.

The simple distillation went well....If I knew chemistry was so fun I would have taken it in high school! Turned that cheap wine into some cheap liquor. I can't wait to try the next experiment!!
Got woke up by a crew of workers with chainsaws and a Bobcat with a huge tree grinder on the front. They cleared ALL the brush and trees from beneath the power lines behind my house!! Looks a lot better!! They have never done that before in the 20 years I've lived here. Normally they only cut down tall trees getting close to their lines.
Now if the town crew would come by and take out some dead Ash trees in the front!

I've had Ermine try to claim salmon I've caught that are 10X their weight! They are Fearless!They kill just to kill and then line their stolen burrow with the fur of the kill.

Well that is the end game, but I didn't want to waste a bunch of QWET so I am practicing first.
The vacuum distillation really has me intrigued....You can boil off alcohol at slightly above room temp under vacuum, where as it's 172 degrees F normally. Which means a lot less damage to terpenes, etc.
A quick barrel roll with a brief hang at the bottom and that argument is settled. Also killing one's pilot when you can not manage the airframe is a foolish but possibly brave move? Maybe they missed the class on cause and effect.

Just had a lovely connection/moment with a fellow male human being. Stopped at a gas station to grab a coffee and an older man, presumably buying lottery tickets, parked behind me blocking me in but not really. I was walking out as he was walking in and he says "I'm sorry can you get out? I should only be a couple minutes." To which I automatically replied "buddy I can land a jumbo fucking jet in there." He laughed, I laughed. It was nice. I killed it in real life lol.
