Bought a new portable ac unit from Home Depot. 12,000 bTu for the bedroom.
also a tall tower fan. The sun up here is intense. Not looking foward to summer here at all. I sure hope it’s a cloudy one.Clouds rolled in yesterday after a couple 73 degree sunny days.Feeling that sun burn me up was so uncomfortable. So relieved today. I think I’m gonna get one of those sunlamps for rays instead.

Yesterday I needed to burn a large brush pile & slash from a dead sycamore tree I cut down & it was mid 70's here in the Ozarks. Had to take off my tee shirt cause I was moving & sweating a lot.
I'm kinda red now.

i have a pretty good sized indoor swamp cooler too for our living/dining/kitchen area. it doesn't drop temps much but the extra RH% makes it feel much cooler

After a shit night of no sleep, 'Spent the day trying to isolate an electrcal fault in the old man's house. Mission accomplished!

Got back home & decided to break-apart a pile of firewood that I cut a few years ago that has just been sitting out in the bush ever since.
As we're into Autumn here, it was a job that needed attention. Every piece was humped out of the bush by hand until it started getting dark.

That's about 1/4 of the pile & my hydration & blood-sugar levels plummetted.

Now I need a shower, several beers & a bloody-good feed.....
