Not a bad deal. I paid 20k to some sneaky lawyers after getting busted once, growing on/off for a fifteen years, and only seriously for a couple of years. The only time I got was a week of community service working under a park manager that got high as hell and welcomed my green gifts with 'hang out in the sprawling mostly empty park and do whatever you want' attitude instead of cleaning bbq grease garbage bins and picking up after soccer moms wiping their children's asses with napkins and littering the play area. And 1 year of no getting caught with anything informal probation. The best part of the story is that I negotiated my own punishment after realizing the lawyers were the bad guys and not actually doing what they were claiming to do. Same thing happened to me! On Halloween, as a young teenager, I was out bombing with friends, tp and shaving cream, they caught us and checked my belly bag. I had a clear package of oregano that I forgot was in there from a month or so earlier when some friends and I tried smoking it because we were out of bud. The cop thought he had us, when my mom came to get us at the station she took it and smelled it and threw it out in front of them and threatened to sue them... those were the days..i like getting schooled by the cops during my once a decade weed inspection, one cops says to me"so, your good at growing things why dont you grow tomatoes instead"
then they start going through my kitchen and pull out a brand new jar of oregano start crapping on we should get this tested, i said its oregano, yeah sure, it is,,,, was the reply
