Today , here in Finger Lakes region of Upstate ( regardless of the incredible amount of f'ing smoke in the air from the conflagration in Quebec ) , our Fucowie
tribe held it's 3rd annual " Cat Hacking Hairball Contest " ! We had to wear breathing masks and swimming goggles, " but the show must go on " .
So many people showed up from our west side of the lake to witness this feline spectacle .....we couldn't disappoint ! Being the Master of Ceremonies, I began
the contest my introducing each competitor , then escorted , one cat at a time ,
to the impromptu stage we erected the day before. There were nine contestants.
The very friendly ferals who live on and under our front deck ( they all have very nice insulated , well insulated houses I made for them ). Their names are Bunny,
Red, Jack, Dip, Alfie and Tater Chip . Then there is our house cats, Gunther, Clive,
and Cosmo, all fierce competitors ! After a drum roll ( the crowd going wild and
placing bets ) , the hacking started ! Cosmo won , hands down ! He tossed an
outrageous specimen !

I got home at around 2AM after driving ~300 miles home from a slotcar race in Bothell, WA

I didn't do very well, coming in 7th and not making the A main, but I'm still the points leader having won the first race and coming in second in the second race of this 6-race series I'm competing in
