Up with a cup and looking out at some new snow. Looks like 6" or so. 30F. Supposedly gonna be a break in the action this AM and then another shot this afternoon of 1-3". Love the moisture but my back is saying otherwise.
Took down/trimmed up some plants yesterday and put the nugs in the freeze dryer. I guess we'll see how this works out. Still have 3 plants to go but couldn't fit em in the FD so I'm gonna let em ride another day. TH Seeds Melonsicle is taking the home terpy bitch prize. Dunno if it's melon but it has a very deep/nice stank. Could be fun. She's definitely getting a few spots in the Summer garden.
Huge music fan here but you folks are making me feel old(er)....LOL. Like the Pro sports gene...I missed the rap gene along the way in my quest to rock. I know a few of the other olde fooks here can probably relate. "Sex and drugs and rock and roll" Drury

Is this your first time using the freeze dryer? I grew a pineapple express last summer that smelled horrible, but after a month in the jar it mellowed out and the pineapple came out. Hopefully you can get past the funky stage quicker in the fdMornin'...

If you need to chop I buck mine down to nugs then put them in the freezer to await their turn. I always like to put them in my freezer prior so I don't have to use the freeze dryer for their initial freeze down. Then FD takes them to -20 from roughly 0. Looking forward to hear how you like it and what your learning curve looks like.

Heavy wet snow mostly got wiped out by rain after midnight. I put trash and recycling out on the curb last night. Plow truck just went by and a wave of icy slush knocked them over. Fortunately, the rain had also frozen the lids shut, yay!

Good morning, happy Monday. It's a short week!
We got about 4" of snow Friday. It was gone by Saturday. Looks like our cold snap is over. into the 40's for the rest of the week.

Well I can't lie...I am an ancient dragon and I'm not much of a fan of Opera or rap. I was wayyyy into staying current/finding new sounds/etc before my son passed and then....boom...I lost it all and now I have to be very selective as to what I listen to or it just sends me into the abyss. These days I enjoy the silence and the sound of the creek far more...but I do have spells where I hear something in my head and have to go listen to it to get it to stop playing...
I've had it maybe 4 years now and have ran a few pounds of bubble hash through it...but have never tried freeze drying buds. (or food)

Managed to snag a couple pairs of eclipse sunglasses from the library on Saturday. People are getting them for free then trying to sell them on FB marketplace. 
Getting tango to howl with me is my favorite kind of performance. She is such a derp.
