"I will remember the day for the rest of my life. It was Christmas morning, and all the presents were opened, or so I thought. In a grand gesture, my lovely wife swooped another hidden box out and handed it to me. In puzzlement, I opened it. Money was tight — we had two children to feed and the mice had to go next door for breadcrumbs! Okay, it wasn’t quite this bad but we had little in the way of extra folding money. So, it was a complete surprise when I unwrapped a shiny Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle."

"The MRADELR is the next step forward for Barrett with extreme long-range marksmanship, sharing all the features, innovative technology, precision engineering, and high-quality material standards with the renowned MRAD family. The MRADELR has been scaled up, however, for use with larger calibers like the .416 Barrett. This extreme long-range system is designed for target engagement beyond 2000 yards. In its first public showing at the 2023 King of 2 Miles competition, the MRADELR outperformed other production rifles making hits out to 3526 yards."

Had the first range day with my new 1862 36 Cal. Colt Pocket replica....not exactly what I would call enjoyable. The caps just constantly shredded and jammed the hell out of the revolver. I used 777 charges from 12 grains up to 20 and they all shredded the caps. I'll have to find some real black powder (which is hard to locate in MA) and I'm looking into Slixshot nipples which are ported to alleviate some back pressure. MA is a goddamn Commie hellhole now, I had to pass a background check just to buy percussion caps and all ammo and loading components are all now tabulated and logged with the DOJ.
