I am real happy with this grow. The buds are huge and finally getting good water I hope. I had some minor issues this grow. A brush with greenhouse thrips, calcium and potassium deficiency showing on a few leaves from the plants growing big flowers with few nutes. But overall, the buds are getting nice. The other stuff I cut down is good soft smoke. Tasty.
Alot of growers don't care that their pot tastes bad and is harsh smoke. I encounter that frequently. I wish their customers would try mine!

I agree bud taste is important for me too idc if it gets me ripped if it's not pleasurable to smoke then I won't enjoy it or want to smoke it
Cherry chap stick, astringent mint, a rich sweet pungency, fruity, hashy, lemon lime, cherry cough syrup, honeysuckle, skunk funk....old-school goodness.Nice looking buds , what would you say she smells like

I am getting ready to cull extra clones again. Sad. No one wants them. The stores push hype strains and growers the cops haven't picked on. I got an email from Humboldt CSI but I am not in Humboldt and they are busy harvesting. Richmond, VA. I am here now. Killing the skunk clones again...no customers.

I hear ya man....I was trying to sell ozs of breeder cuts of GG4; Grape Gas; and more and ppl basically told me they want newer more interesting strains.
Ppl chose to buy random pollen chucked genetics with cool names rather than the breeder cut of GG4.....ppl are fucking stupid.
In some ways I feel like the seed industry has steered seed buyers away from "The Dank" and to autos and endless pheno hunting of inferior poly-hybrids looking for that breeder cut quality they may not find.
I think as much as 98% of the pot grown in VA. is garbage. I am a stranger in a strange land now. I hit the street and hustled today and made a new customer. That is how I am going to come back. One sack at a time. I am excited to lay the skunk on people. No one around here has any real good sativas hardly. The zippa-dee-doodah...

Dexter is very close to me . I used to know a guy out there who moved tons of flower . Of course the feds got him ,I suspect it was more about seizing the money he had accumulated , then the flower that was seized. 1.2 million and 280 lbs of green . Sadly the guy had no other ties to any sort of crime , just made money off bud that cops felt the need to steal …
The biggest one that faded got chopped today except for the cola. Day 59. Letting the others go to 70 perhaps for best quality. I am happy with it. At harvest time the terps are complex and it smelled like scented bath soap. Like lilac and roses, gone was the strong lemon lime which is in the background comes out a bit on the cure. It's kinda skunky, not real loud unless you touch it. A rich sweet pungancy.Very sticky. Potency remains to be seen.

I think of new skunk#1 crosses all the time as follow ups to my old work...like Grape Gas x Skunk#1. I read GG is a great breeder.

It's great skunk combines good with most things but alot of modern stuff has skunk it it somewhere in its lineage so it's just finding the ones that don't to get the most outta it

Yup , he was a good old boy from what I knew of him . I know he had been in some trouble when he was young , but dude fished , and also made a fortune in scrap business as well .
