Whose genetics ? If that's Meph gear I must have missed seeing that. Sounds good tho. Ahhh, I just checked. Those were some of the limiteds. The Gelauto crosses. I've had a couple of the others. Mango Macaw, which had fat ass nugs but a little to Sativa for me and Iced N Baked x MBAP which was pretty fantastic.
Yeah they were tester packs. Grow store said tester pack and non tester packs are the same cost $50 either way standard packs got 3 seeds and tester get 6 seemed like a no-brainer to me
Check the Mephisto web page. Often, they run deals where you can get a free 5pk with any seed order. I did an order back in the early spring where I ordered a 3pk of CDLC for $48 that had 5 seeds. They also sent a 5 pk of Mango Macaw plus 2 F1 of the month freebies. So I got 12 seeds for 50 couple dollars including shipping and tax. They tend to run specials like that a couple times a year. But from the grow store, that's not a bad deal.
New Appletizer strain just came out yesterday. Buy a 5 pack of the limited crosses, and get 5 more of their freebies (Bramley beast or Pink Rizzo), plus the regular freebies. $44.00 US for 12-13 seeds. Hard to beat Meph math.
Yep. This is exactly what I was referring to. They do offer some good deals when dropping a new line. For around $50 shipping and all you get 12 seeds with good pedigree. The 10+10 for $150+ shipping that ILGM offers seems awfully high after you see these deals. Especially with the quality Mephisto offers.

I noticed that too this morning when looking for more info on CDLC. Are there a lot of pheno variations in F1 crosses?
I mean,,,yeah, they aren't as predictable as the F5-F7 plants from the Artisinals, but, they are crossing 2 well developed strains. I've had some minor pheno variation with their F1's , but, nothing like in the ILGM or Dutch Passion stuff I've ran. I will say that I haven't gotten any of their F1's that were just not worthy. They all were pretty damned good. The pheno variation is just enough to make things interesting plant to plant. Hell, if we want to totally protect against variation, we run cloned photos.

That ILGM GG4 auto is the 1 that I've had the most pheno drift with. Ive grown a 10+10 pk plus a 10 pk they sent me because i bitched about the pheno drift. Either you got lucky or I
I'm not usually particularly lucky. Maybe it was completely random that the 6 seeds I selected from a pack of twenty for 3 different grows were very similar. More likely I'm guessing mine probably came from a different breeder then what you got.
Being that these big seed companies like ILGM,SEEDSMAN,RQS etc., use white lable Spanish breeders to produce their seeds then that is very likely. But, both the 20 seed bag plus the 10 seed replacement yielded similar results. Oh, well I'm not gonna bash ILGM today. I've been there before lol. I realize now that the big companies have a hard time producing the quality of product that the dedicated auto breeders do. They say it takes 5 years+ to stabilize a new strain. Most breeders don't care to pheno hunt through generations of hundreds of plants to find the ones that will make the product better. I'm wanting to try Night Owl. Daz has taken some of Mephistos work to another level. I want some I've just been too broke. I only managed this little order because of the free 5 pk plus 2 other freebies. You're going to be blown away at how good that CDLC turns out. In the RDWC setup, you could get some tennis ball sized nugs. The buzz is going to shock you too. I've only smoked better weed a few times.
