I notice some plants are on the ground, is that something you usually do? I see most folks using risers and I wonder how beneficial they truly are. I have my 3 gallon pots in milk cratesDay 23 ish and a whole lot more still to go.
1st Pic - small lower bud on the grape bubba. Lookin extra nice early on.

I’m just trying to keep the canopies close to level, so I raised the one in front when the one behind it stretched. I don’t really get any runoff with this method, so there’s no need for me to elevate them or use drip trays for collection. If it was colder, I’d elevate them to keep the root zone off of the cold floor.I notice some plants are on the ground, is that something you usually do? Sounds like a good tea to me I'm sure they will like itMakin some worm casting tea with about 2 cups castings, and a tbsp of alfalfa, kelp, and molasses in the mix. Washed (well) and then tore up a comfrey leaf for each plant from the veggie garden, for shits n giggles. Happy Halloween/trick or treat experiment I guess. It should hopefully help add some microbes because it’s a healthy plant. Hopefully the tea helps too. I gave the 2 stressed plants a top dressing of some cooked soil to eat - the same stuff they’ve eaten their whole lives.
Maybe my mix needs to be stronger? The veg plants like it and plants do well in early flower, but the plants that really explode after flip all start to look hungry and stressed at around week 4. I need to find my notes and post my soil mix for some smarter people to check out. I’ve seen recs for the same amount and then almost double the amendments.
The Saints Crossing is basically my “control” plant. I know if she gets upset, I probably really fucked something up. Humidity has risen this week to 50% in the basement and it’s raining. Set up 2nd dehumidifier. Plants are drinking slower and didn’t get water this morning.

I hope the ladies did not have diabetes like ButtercupFired up the 3rd light at 50% to start lighting up the middle and have it high up to disperse the light more evenly. I’ll move it down and increase % as necessary. The plants on the left side plants are creepin in towards the middle, and need the light. I was hoping to keep that space clear for working, but they’re eating and growing fast. I hope my soil mix holds out.

The Spider Farmer light is a little bit different spectrum than the Viparspectra so it‘ll be nice to have variety in the spectrum. Plants are starting to set flowers, and canopies are lookin pretty good.
My current profile bud shot is from my last run of the Saint’s Crossing (front left plant, running it again).
