I went on Wednesday before thanksgiving and caught around 30# of catfish ( only 5 fish ) I only cleaned one fish for my supper and I still could not eat it all. I had a blast.

I used to keep alot of aquariums in my 20's. I had an entire room setup not much unlike a grow room of sorts but for fish. Lol. I had 2 Oscars like yours but they would lock jaws and fight, one brutal fight later and the white one broke the black ones jaw, and it was all crooked so we called him Jean Cretien (the old Canadian prime minister lol). He was totally fine and kept on eating and swimming just fine but with a crooked jaw

I’ve got a good friend who just got out of prison last month. Looks like my fishing buddy is going to be back in the boat ( as long as he leaves that ankle bracelet at home ) .

Trout no closed season gotta love it.

It was a cold one around -10 with Gusty winds 56km/hr. Not for the faint of heart. Managed to put one in the net before my line broke from the ice and I didn't feel like re tying. Lol. Just hung out with the rest of the locals and some old friends I haven't seen for a wee while.
