Zelensky is LEGIT, I knew he was down when he said he needed ammunition not a plane ride to safety. It must gall him to have to make nice w/Trump,who'd crumble like a house of cards in his shoes.
I heard something on CBC Radio 1 today that he wasn't playing so nice at his meeting with the dumpster this morning. Haven't watched any TV yet but will get the whole story later. Something about tRump losing his cool because Zelenskyy wouldn't suck dick for help.

Gotta have big cajones to piss off the guy that you desperately need to be your buddy to save your country but that's the way he rolls and good for him.

How anyone can think this manchild was/is fit to serve as president is so far beyond my idea of what a real man is supposed to be I have less than zero respect and only contempt for anyone who supports anything he does. He and his idiotic minions are trashing everything the US stands for and it will take decades to regain the world's trust that he's throwing away.

I have so much sympathy for all my American friends that have to watch the country they love fall into ruin at the hands of a mad man. :(

"The free world needs a new leader": Allies defend Zelensky after Trump debacle
A parade of European leaders issued statements of solidarity with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after his stunning confrontation with President Trump in the Oval Office on Friday.
European leaders, who are increasingly coming to terms with Trump's hostile approach toward the transatlantic alliance, moved swiftly to defend Zelensky with a coordinated message of support.
"Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people. Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You are never alone, dear President Zelensky," tweeted European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The leaders of Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Lithuania, Sweden, and dozens of other European countries issued similar statements heaping praise on Zelensky and the Ukrainian people.

It Was an Ambush
Today marked one of the grimmest days in the history of American diplomacy.
Leave aside, if only for a moment, the utter boorishness with which President Donald Trump and Vice President J. D. Vance treated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House today. Also leave aside the spectacle of American leaders publicly pummeling a friend as if he were an enemy. All of the ghastliness inflicted on Zelensky today should not obscure the geopolitical reality of what just happened: The president of the United States ambushed a loyal ally, presumably so that he can soon make a deal with the dictator of Russia to sell out a European nation fighting for its very existence.

Republican lawmaker on Trump-Zelensky meeting: ‘A bad day for America’s foreign policy’
Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) characterized Friday’s contentious meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a “bad day” for U.S. foreign policy.

“A bad day for America’s foreign policy. Ukraine wants independence, free markets and rule of law. It wants to be part of the West. Russia hates us and our Western values. We should be clear that we stand for freedom,” Bacon said in a Friday text message to The Hill.
