I kinda like coming in-in the morning and reading your stoner posts from the night before, I have a family life at home that needs too much of my attention to post alot. Especially my almost 3 y/o keeps me busy.

onthedl and other fellow grow clubbers.... My woes continue, my nearly 3 foot tall plants were doing bad yesterday, almost 80% of the growth had died in just 2 days. I just checked this morning, and out of 3 huge health plants with tons of branches and folliage, only about 6 branches are still alive!!! I checked the RES and ph and ppm went up overnight so I changed out the res to just plain phed water (prob should have done yest). My smaller plants aren't bad at all. I think I now know what happened. I had used powdered nutes and never mixed the RES well. I think the nutes got concentrated in the roots of the large plants as the roots touched the bottom of the res. The smaller plants roots don't touch the bottom so they weren't in contact with the powder.

I could use some advice, I have massive nute burn. Should I cut off all the dead folliage or just let it be until plant recovers- hopefully. I'm not sure if I have enough leaf material left to support the plant.

Bro i wouldnt start chopping things off the plant i think it will cause more stress than anything... Id clean the shit out of that res and then do it again..Str8 water flush for a few days...Most of the foliage will prolly come back.. THe branches that are laying over and spent id remove them u dont want to stress it out on the other end if the branches are bent and broke remove them.And only them. Id flush once a day for a few days.
And deffinetely mix the powder before u add it for now on bro...Powders at least here are alot more concentrated.

hanks man. Gonna flush res once a day and get that water pump to mix the RES. Thanks dl. Lots of roots and 1 or 2 branches per plant. Hope they make it...

U caught it quick bro im sure it will work.. Be easy on nutes man... My nute bottles call out for 3 times as many nutes as it takes me to aquire desired levels be very carefull.

can you mix your bloom ferts in first then add some grow fert in next into the same resivour to add nitrogen to your plants?

Funny you ask that.. I was talking to my brother about the same thing. I don't touch snakes, spiders or any other creature. I run from roaches and leaves that i think are roaches. I am afraid of whats in the dark and some other things.
The most crazy stuff I have done was jump out of an air plane, off of a bridge and go rafting! I love the outdoors! I'm sure our souls know each other! I don;t make wine but I make a killer Sangria! No hunting for me, I wouldn't eat it so no sense in killing for game. But I do fish sometimes and eat that!!
