Thanks man, Nothing personal but ya, kinda makes the ones I've seen in veg look like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree huh? I start with Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil, great stuff. Seems to have the perfect drainage too. All the nutes you need for the first 3-4 weeks. And the stuff I would want to put in for that stage. Only give them plain distilled water. I'll post some pics of when they were young. Foxfarm nutes with some extra stuff too. I'm going to be trying some different nutes again though. Stuff I used before. There's way to much to type at one time, I'm not very fast.

I read in Jorge cervantes book that u dark period the plant for 24hours to use up all the sugars and push them out. Crystal production is supposed to go into hyper drive then

alright im ordering some Foxfarm dirt right now. Yea i know my plants aren't that healthy my outdoors always looked like ur indoors so I know I just wanna pretty much mirror what ur doing now. I need more light too, so il order a 400watt HPS next week

With 30% amber I would chop. And yes, you should order more hps. I want to switch to a digital ballast so I can use MH or HPS in the same setup if I want. Less heat, less power and more lumens per watt. And plan to get a second one also. I'm thinking a duel 150watt for my 2x2 box and a new 400watt for my 3x3 box that I need to build soon. Waiting for these to finish to help finance my prodjects.

yea i don't think the 300 watts of HPS is covering all the 10 girls so ill put the 400 in there and leave 1 150 in there take the other 150 and combine it with the closet one and use that for the ICE

alot of people preach it on here as well search it out on here. I guess u can feel the resin production go up even....we will find out, ill letem go a few more days since theve been fatting up big time lately, I just dont know when they would stop fatting up.

These were before any nutes. I did quite a bit of pruning and vegged longer than normal for a reason. Bigger better root system and gives the time to do the pruning. That Foxfarm soil is the shit IMO.

Sounds like a good plan. My 400 is to much really for the box this a little over 2x2. But I put glass in it. I'm using a double pain insulated piece in there now. some thing I took out of an old window.

It all depends on how much you pay for your electricity. It cost me maybe $15 a month to run my 400 but that does not include the extras. And why would you be worrying?

what should the final size be container wise?

I see most recommend 1 gal per finish plant height. I like to start them in small ones and transplant as I see fit. Depending on how often I have to water them. Mine were in 1 gal until I put them in 3 gal when they went into flower. They are a little over 2 feet tall now. I like the 1 gal square pots. I would have to water about every 3rd day and when I repotted they really were not to root bound. At least not as much as I thought they would be. But you have to remember the better a plant is feed the less the roots have to go out and look for food. It seems to help keep the roots smaller. That's one reason hydro is so fast. all the nutes are right there so the plant does not have to go lokking so much and can devote more energy to upper growth.
