First off let me say this, I finally have a secure connection again, and I will be able to stop in alot more often. I apologize to anyone I left hanging, but I assure you I will do my best to help anyone I can...in a much more timely fashion.
So need some help.......
I have started 3 plants all healthy and what not....... was wondering what is the smallest container i can put them in to grow at least an oz for each of them?
Well the bigger the better, but you probably could squeeze an ounze out of a 1 gallon pot with the proper attention payed. Again though, bigger is better and a 2 gallon pot would increase your odds.
Yo Hubert... I've really just started to grow, but I read alot... Like ALOT!!! So I know all the basics. But one thing I wanna know since I'm a Soil grower my self is how can I improve Topsoil? Like I bought a big bag of it and I was wanting to add my own mix to it. I've been using Fox Farm Ocean Forest, but it burns some strain early on. So any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Peace.
I don't use alot of soil additives, but the one thing every grower should have is a bag of perlite on the go all the time. I usually mix 2 parts soil to 1 part perlite to help 'fluff' up the mix, and increase the drainage. Worm castings are also one of those things I usually have around, an easy nitrogen boost.
What is the earliest you can top a plant
You can top pretty early on, but it's generally a good idea to wait until you have a few well established 'branches' so that when you do cut the top off the plant still has enough leaves to maintain itself.
