ive used 3 gal containers the roots haven't become crowed yet still working on getting better at growing ,my production could come up .i need more light in the future for now im getting plenty of bud

if you're good you can get the same out of a 6 inch pot that a newb could get out of a 2 gal.

why not everyone just use 10 gallon pots inside? or 20? why use pots outside at all? if i put them in the EARTH will they grow forever? where is this all leading?

when you have plants in tiny pots i beleive they are fine as long as you water them alot.

like water at least once a day probably ,people on her grow half ounce plants in cups but i need a gallon pot to even get that lol

you of all people should know, every experience is different and people speak in generalities. this isnt a pissing contest, this is information to guide people. sure grow in a shot glass, see what happens, most people will yield shit, a few well versed people will of course make the best of it. fact is rootbound exists and it happens. better to be safer than sorry, esp in this "hobby" that attracts new people daily.

how often did you water that in the summer time when it hit high 90s low 100s?

you know what really sucks? having a little plant in HUGE pot and over watering it with too many nutes. now what? you can't flush, you've already over watered. it will take forever for the plant to dry the soil out, if the roots don't rot first.

what is one of the most common newb mistakes? over watering and over feeding. a lot harder to do in a small pot. no?

14 inch pot, 5 gallon capacity max. i watered twice a day during peak summer heat. just like a hydro flood and drain. i base my concept on the huge plants i see hydro growers grow in little 6 inch rockwool cubes. i just scaled up a little.

there is no such thing as rootbound. if u have a plant were u can pull out the whole rootball it doesnt mean its root bound the more dense the rootball it just means u have to water it more often.....rootbound doesnt exist it just means u have to water more often
