Burnt out?

Yeah... it's like a part time job trying to do all this stuff. And it's not like I'm getting paid. I get herb and I'm happy about that, but the rest... it's not like I have anyone to share it with. No where to sell it. So it's for my own personal enjoyment, and I have enough EVERYTHING for about a year. Seriously, I will be smoking the hash I made for another few months at least. The herb would last me till next june, and the brownies/ butter.... I'll never use it all, never.

If I had pot smoking buddies or something it might be a little different.

I guess I don't see the point, other than just to do it.

I wish it was legal... I could sell it all, make a bunch of money and be very motivated. Oh well.

And yeah I can try to sell some herb to the stores to make 'some' money, and I'm going to try that at some point... I'm just skeptical on them giving me enough to make it worth it for me. I don't want to sell my stuff for $150 an oz or something and I worry they won't even offer that. We'll see, just another thing I have to do. Stuff still doesn't smell good enough for the store. I don't know if I loaded them with too many nutes or what. I flushed forever but things still don't smell like 'chronic' it smells different. I don't know what I"m doing/ have done wrong. Maybe I didn't let things get dry enough... could that be?

Hey... Oakland CA passed a bill to tax the stores there. If they get out of their budget woes from that... look for other CA cities to do it. Then for CA... and once CA turns it's horrible economy upside down from pot... here come other states.

I have been thinking of Smoothe1987 Paintball Co2, its so small its perfect for small rooms like ares but it only last three weeks.

Seeing what way your going to go with for the rest of your grows. I was thinking the paintball would work just would need two or three bottles, to get through the flowering.

No co2 this grow... but I want to next grow.

I'm going to go with the painball tank. You can fill them at sports stores. I think there is a place a couple minutes away from me too that refills.

I plan on using the paintball one, but no promises. I'm feeling lazy. Eventually though, I will.

I'm definitely growing some 'up' stuff next time. Just want some to hold me over till then.

The problem with outdoor grows around where I live are 2. There aren't many spots in the forrest where sun gets through enough. And right where I live is a serious hotbed for outdoor growing, people are always getting caught and stuff and I don't want to mess with it. I'm such a wuss sometimes.

If I ever do an outdoor grow it will be right next to the house, maybe in a greenhouse type thing.

I'm going to go hang out with my plants a little. I think I just haven't been bonding with them like I should and it's gotten me out of the zone.

Oh... and I'm going to try to shake some keif off my white widow, have a little jar of it for fun... you've got me wanting to jump back on the train.

Yeah... I had seen that. Love it. I thought you meant a single plant under 600w. I can't do that many plants. Maybe a 6 site that wraps around 3 sides of the closet... 2 plants per wall, mount the lights on the door, and if I wanted to get crazy off the chain I could scrog them.

Maybe grow after next... sounds like a lot of work and money.

Ok so about the 4 Purple Kush plants that are growing and are the subject of this journal. While hanging out with them today, I cut a little leaf tip to check the trichs and WOW I now know what Amber trichs look like. I would say 80-90% of them are amber.

Now, last grow, when I saw amber trichs they looked like they were being sunburt on the top... like they were just buttered on the top with amber. These plants, the trichs are turning amber from within the 'stalk'. It looks like the center of the 'stem' of the trichomes has a worm growing in it. It's really wild.

I guess it's time to harvest. It has been 8 weeks, so it is right.

I checked that leaf yesterday and almost every trich had that amber core. But that leaf was from the top of the plant... should I check one from the middle of the plant... should I just cut it down? I still have 3 more. I guess as far as the whole plant "looking ready"... I'm not getting that glow yet like I remember seeing last grow. Maybe I should wait for that? But the trichs are so amber?

The trichs on the leaves always mature faster than those on the calyx's themselves.

Check those.

Have the hairs started retreating into the calyxs'? Are you getting any swelling of the calyxs?

edit: The Beastie Boys have recorded a single with NAS. Now... this next bit is a complete obscure reference... if you get it... you are my brother. The song with the bboys and nas have made me feel like the character 'pigman' from the movie 'PCU'. See in the movie pigman was working on his thesis in "TV". His hypothesis is the Caine-Hackman theory. No matter what time it is, 24 hours a day, you can find a Michael Caine or Gene Hackman movie playing on TV. He sits in front of the tv without break for weeks until one night (coincidentally the night of the big party)... pigman finally finds a movie with Caine and Hackman together... and finally his work is done. He can finally stop watching TV. So there... I feel like him sitting here on my computer and finally the greatest rappers alive come together... it feels like JUST FOR ME.

I also feel as if the new movie coming out later this year was made for me... it's called '9'. The preview gives me goosebumps and brings a tear to my eye.

You know I have. It's been about 8 or 9 days on strait water.

I have noticed some swelling over the past week or so, but I feel as if it has slowed or stopped.

I'll try to check the trich on the calyxes like you said... not the easiest, but it has to be done, haha.

I swear this is deja vu with the first harvest. What would I do without you jess... probably drive my wife crazy asking her every 5 minutes. And even then I wouldn't have as good a harvest. Thanks bro.
