well feel better at any rate.....

maybe when you feel better those beans will sprout for you????
OMG Dragon! Hell yes! LoL

Hmmm sounds like just some shitty seeds. The attitude is the shit and ya I got a list a mile long as well for them. They are a bit pricey but make up for it with the freebie seeds and the huge selection. If money is an issue hit up www.dope-seeds.com they have a lot of the same seed banks as the attitude but a lot cheaper/downside is no free seeds unless you order over 50 pounds and you get some thai hazexskunk stuff. I've made 4 orders from them and everytime they make it to me.

:leaf::peace::leaf:
We have ordered from dope seeds a few times. I just wrote some hate mail to this place and told them I am unhappy and will let everyone know on the boards how unhappy I really am! So lets see if i get a response! LoL

Sorry to hear your still ill. hope it's not h1n1. Better luck next time with the seeds. I like attitude myself. its very good seedbank. Happy growing.
Thanks Jeb. And that H1N1 is just a hyped up flu from the media, nuttin different from the reg flu. I am feeling a bit better now.

And with that I PROMISE! Pics tonight! I left hubby to do all the work these last few days... feel bad, but he'll be very happy in the end!

Ok... so here are a few pics Hubby took a few days ago. He is concerned now that the leaves are getting yellow and dying off at the base of the plant.

I am hoping these pictures will look a lil better and show what I am talking about. The on in the far right corner may show a bit better as that one seems to be the worse. I have been doing a bit of reading... not much as I have not been on my best game this past week. But I was thinking Nitrogen or Magnesium? I just dont want to pick the wrong problem or solution. This is by far the best I have seen our grows come along. So I wanna stay on my A game :weed:

I am gonna get some more up close pics sometime tonight.... If I can stay awake longer than our company! LoL :-P But i will get those pics up a bit closer!

Thank guys hope your all doing well! Relaxed.. I took a very brief look at that site! I need to go back and make my wish list too!

I can see you have done some work on your heat issue. You can tell :). They look a little over watered.... once the pots dry out to a depth of 1 1/2" down do ahead and feed 1/4 dose of veg nutrients... they will love it. How is the airflow in there? More airflow will increase transpiration, hastening photsynthesis, propigating vegitative growth, causing the leaves to lift slightly higher, be more stout and resistant. Airflow reduces humidity as well (usually just slightly). Thank you for the update. Your doing very well.

I really want you to stay on your A game too! I really want you and your hubby to end up with the fattest dankest super stony and satisfying buds!!

you haven't started flowering yet right?

if you flower indoors, you may want to wait until they pick up another 6-12 inches in height (depending on the wattage of your HPS).

Keep it up!

Thanks Dragon! + rep! So you think that yellowing on the bottom leaves is from the over watering? If I recall correctly, I think he watered them 2x and fed them with the sensi grow once while I have been sick. I'll confirm with him later to make sure.

I also think he said he raised the light, something about 12 inches away? We are still in veg and he wanted to go to 12/12 on sunday which will be the 5th week. Were indoors and using a 400 watt HPS. Will adding another rotating fan in the tent help? Or is that maybe another intake type of issue?

A game it is! I too want some seriously fat super dank bud! Worse case scenario I figured we could come to your house for your harvesting party! LoL;-)

raising the light diminishes the heat hitting the plants, but also deminishes the lumens that are actually hitting the plants which slows traspiration and photosynthesis. Rotating fan would be perfect.... what wattage are you vegging under again?

And ok.... please do come visit for the harvest party :)

Have you purchased the digital ph meter yet? When I used other then Ocean Forest soil the bottom of the plants did continue to die until I had a couple weeks of digital phed water. I went sometimes 6 days between water in a 3 or 5 gal. (using a 400 watter). I tackled the heat issue early so I don't have much experience on seeing too hot weed plants but usually they just look stressed. If this continues and you start to see how good the OF soil plants look vs. non OF soil take the top 3 or 4 inches of soil and replace it with OF soil. The organic nuts will help as well as draining. I haven't used the soil you have used prior so are those plants real heavy when you water them? That could/would be water.

You doing good much improved...

Oh, there is a thread on taking pics of plants you should read. I may find it for you ...

Nope not yet... he hasnt had a chance to get over to the Hydro store. Probably this week.

Ah, northern lights, one of my all time favorites... Subscribed
Pull up a seat... I have them in the veg box and before i know it they will be ready to get transplanted! Feel free to comment!
Thanks Relaxed.....gonna check it out!

This is a great tent, like the one I am building.
Thanks! Good luck with your tent. Would love to see it when your done!

Its a 400 watt HPS...ahh ok... so its kinda a damned if you do and damned if you dont, but if you can conquer the heat issues the light being a tad closer doesnt really hurt as far as heat itself is concerned. Did that just make sense? LoL

yeah if you can keep the temperature constant, moving the light closer would give the plants more "dense" light to creat energy from ;)....... but if you move the light closer to the plants it will focus the light energy/heat into the plant canopy as well...... sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. at this time I would recomend a cool tube (if you can afford it). A cool tube allows for the air in the area of the light bulb itself to be constantly replenished via an inline fan by cooler air, exhausting the light heated air out of your growing environment, allowing the light to pass through the glass tube and hit the plants without over heating the area.

TLD.... I am going to look into that cool tube.. thank you for that info!

Ok here are some of the pics I just took tonight. Hubby wants to go into flower.... I have been thinking we were 4 weeks going on 5, but today actually makes 6 weeks. As you can see in the pics... the BB in the back left hand side is the smallest. She has come pretty far and is a whopping 9 1/2 inches tall. LoL The one to the right of her, (back row, middle) is like 12 inches. The rest of the girls are now almost if not 14 inches tall. Hubby was gonna water and feed them tonite, they are feeling very light in their pots. But decided to wait till tomorrow. He also is contemplating feeding them the Sensi Bloom now instead of the grow. Figured after I do a bit of reading on the threads, he can water, feed and go to 12/ 12 tomorrow.

I have read thru that link Relaxed gave me for photos. Very Interesting thread. I have to play with my camera and see if I can get it to work better for me, but in the meantime, these are what I have tonight. I did take one of the BB's out and take some pics, to see how the color looks without being under the HPS. Just goes to show how lighting really can affect a picture and the color of your girls.

I also have pics of the NL and the bag seed. You'll see the NL on the left looking taller. She is in pro mix and the bag seed is in the FFOF, on the right. They need a bit of water....The NL we planted in the FFOF, never made it. We wanted to comapre the NL in the pro mix and the FFOF, but I think we got some bullshit seeds. But we shall see. I think we will need to germ another 2 or so and get them started. My tomatoes are in there too as you can see. We will also need to transplant the 2 new :leaf: babies in the next few days also. LoL :weed::-P

I would suggest you look at air cooled reflectors vs. just a cool tube. The key is both are air cooled by venting hot reflector air out of the area. I am more a fan of air cooled reflectors vs. cool tube because of hot spots I read about. A decent size reflector you get the back light reflector light energy. Many companys. I like HTG for the price and customer service after the sale if there are issues. They are down for a couple weeks updating the website and moving warehouse I heard. They don't return emails or rarely why in this age I don't know? I call for my orders and speak directly to Tony the owner. If you mention you hear good things, bla, bla, bla about them he usually get a good size price drop and shipping charges reduced..specially if you order multiple items. When the web site is up I'll send you link to mine i like for a closet. A 400 watter is usually good for about 3 x 3 ft. so keep that in mind for what you want to buy. More if your interested?

I say if they are now +10 inches and +5 weeks go for it on the 12/12 flower. Your antsy so from this point is fine. You may want to consider keeping a mother plant for cloning in veg. You don't want to take clones in flower. Have any shown hairs for surely a female? Cloning sure speeds up a next grow vs. seed. Your having seed issues so maybe a good thing to keep one of the best plants back for a mother plant. You could take 6 clones (I think maybe 4 or 5?) and be ready to go with the clones in about 2-4 weeks.

Your ladies are beautiful! I especially like the one smack in the middle, it's picture perfect! Once again I'm struck by the difference HPS lights make over fluoros and CFL's - and anxiously waiting for my own to arrive! Great job, you guys!

Wow ya so we are very close in age. Yours looks bigger cause mine is all tied down, but in a couple weeks we shall see why they where tied ;). Anyways looking very good. You should go ahead and flip 12/12 so we can stay close in age. And yes it would be very smart to take some clones right now. Like the lowest nodes on the main the branches if they are long like mine are. You can clear space and get new plants at the same time.
