Not when you put it like that lol but they are pretty much bastards
So, even if they say the search was illegal, you admitted to the cops that you were growing weed...In the interview i said that the 3 plants were for my personal use so i dont have to deal with drug dealers and save money.
Got court next Thursday i think so ill let you know how it goes
I hate to say that you seem to be kind of "short bus," but...
You would realize that to suppress the evidence would cost you thousands of dollars in attorney fees, and your lawyer would tell you the truth... the court could go either way.
Then you'd sign the agreement that says you only get probation, and wave all your rights to sue the cops.
Pretty simple, huh. From someone who's been there.

you need a county court warrant to search a property in the uk but you have to watch the cops, they play there own game and it sounds to me that this guys mother was taken in by them. if you give concent they will go ahead and search the place. But it sounds to me that there is more to this tale than this guys telling.

well i cant say i "like" the cops here...but i guess it just comes down to how you live..
if you put your self in a postion to where u could get caught(driving drunk) .then cops are going to be cops and do their job..but there job is not to walk into houses after busting u for a dui. are u sure u didnt accidently "let" them in..while you were intoxicated from 70cl of 40% sambuca..??..
...just wish people would be more carefull...especially people who are growing marijuana in their home..makes us look worse than society already thinks we are........if you are going to grow..be responsible...thats all i got itoke...hope it goes well in court..but like ppl have said cant have to much sympathy. keep us posted seriously i would like to hear what happens with this.....iim outtt

he said they caught him down the street. sounds like he stole the car, totaled it, then left the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. if this is the case maybe the cops ran the plates got the address and went to check on the owner. they get there, knock, no answer. they are concerned about injuries to the driver. was there blood in the car? they try the door. it opens..............

Yeah i admitted it because it was the truth but at the end of the day no warrant=no case because they didn't have the right to be there, surely?
They never saw me running from the car or anything, the car i am under arrest on suspicion...
If they do prove it was me then it still isn't theft its taking without permission or something like that because its my mums car.

Yeah thats pretty much it except when they got there the door was not locked so they walked in and had a little nose around while my mum was asleep.
No there was no blood.
