Got the clone station set up in the veg room and everything seems to be working great!

The mama's are looking very NICE! I'll be able to get quite a few good cuts off them when I'm needing more!

Keeping the canopy level is tough - I'm having the same trouble, growing multiple strains, while trying to keep the lights within inches....

I've really been giving it some thought there Integra! , Just not exactly sure how to set it up in my 4' x 4' tent so I'd still be able to get in and water and do all that, Would love some advice on the topic also!

After this grow I don't think I'll be growing them so big.. Or at least if I do it will be scrog for sure

Four NL 5 and the rest master kush. i was thinking of upgrading to one thousand watt hps, but i was liking your setup with the two 400's. what do you think would be better? I have posted some pics below. I've also posted pics of the aero cloner i just built. so far 80% success rate. with the best looking clones i have ever gotten.

I personally love my 2 400's even with 1 of them not being air cooled I can keep both lights within 2-4 inches of the canopy.

Honestly I'd just add an extra 600 If it's air cooled.

Next grow (in flowering room) I'll be upgrading to 2 cool-sun XL 6" air cooled hoods burning 2 600w HPS, and then my non air cooled hood with 1 400w MH.

My personal opinion are 600's are better than 1k's unless you can cool a 1k enough to keep it within the range of a 400 or 600, the light intensity just is not the same. As far as I'm aware 600's are the best bang for your buck right now, and I've seen some amazing results using a couple few 600's over 1k's.

I dont think it would be that hard. Just leave maybe a 6" gap at the sides opf the screen and make sure you leave enough height between the pots and the screen(about12") For watering and feeding, I would just take a gallong jug and put a normal hydroponics valve and hook a foot or two of rubber tubing to. That way you just mix some up, push the hose tight through the screen right into the pot and turn the valve. Feed water desired ammount and your done. It is a lot easier than some people make it out to be.

Great Idea! Thanks a lot! I've been tinkering around this evening with a DIY Drip system for my mama's since they are now in a sort of hard to reach spot due to my lack of judgment

The gallon jug idea is great! It's saved my ass a few times this grow! Now that they are tall enough and most of the lower shaded branches have been trimmed its easy to water my big girls, just crawl on in, pour my water and enjoy!

Next grow however I'd like to keep them smaller and go scrog with it, It just seems like it would be easier for the space that's available right now.

I really like the mix I've been using.

I used just straight up FF OF on a couple of plants in 2 gallon pots just to see how it was or if I really needed to spice it up a bit with some extra goodies... Needless to say, the drainage was kind of blah, it held water like nobodies business (I water them maybe once every 2-3 weeks, it stays soaked), and for the most part the plants in no mixed soil just straight up FF OF seemed to grow slower than the rest.

With the mix.. I know what plants I'm going to have to water in "xx" amount of days, it drains GREAT , retains water but still allows a nice air to water mixture in there for the soil to evenly dry, I personally like the mix I've been using and think my end results have been great!

Today I mixed up some soil being:
2/3 FF Ocean Forest
1/3 Large Perilite

This turned out rather nice.. Not too airy and not too dense.. I think it will work out good!

I think you will like the mix with the light warrior + perlite, after a couple of weeks of lifting pots every day I could really get a feel for when I'm going to need to be watering next.. I can't remember where I read it but another good way to figure out a watering schedule is by giving a good watering, then waiting till the plant "droops" a little bit (starts showing signs of needing water) then take that number of days and -1.. I've personally not tried this method, Lifting my pots for a couple of weeks seems to work rather well, after a bit I can just look at them and say ok today is water day for you and you and... not you.. etc etc.. Grow big my friend!

I will be transplanting 2 Northern Lights, and 1 Matanuska Thunder Fuck into the new mix here in the next few minutes, with a good heavy watering! I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.. The more I feel it though.. The more I'm starting to think its gonna work great!

I mix my soil in a 18g Rubbermaid tub, I take my "scoop" and put "xx" scoops of "xxx" and so on, then I mix it by holding it above my head moving it in a 360 degree motion in all directions, after about 5 min, I take the lid off and get down and dirty with it, I like the feel of hand mixing it for the finishing touch, I can't help it I love to play in the dirt lol..

This is the story of Joker (Bagseed) which has finally been named.. TKO, cause when you smoke this stuff it knocks your ass out!

It all began on 5/27/2009 when I had a random seed sitting around and decided to germinate it, figured eh what the hell if it grows cool if not what ever! (I had other girls in the garden so no big loss)

She germinated rather quickly! Off we were!

Planted in a nice mix of FF Ocean Forest, Light Warrior, Perlite as soil, and she sure did wanna grow!



Needless to say she got overly loved for the first week.. Over watered none the less...



That problem got fixed quick! I started to let the soil dry out more and she really took off!

Week by week she kept growing very vigorously, super healthy and showing all the good signs! Sweet!

Still not sure at this point if she was a boy or girl, my friend and I started jokingly calling her the Joker and it kind of stuck.

Sure enough, with the other girls I had going and this wonderful lady, and the cramped closet that was their home.. I quickly ran out of room.. Knowing a good friend who would take care of her and grow her out much longer than I'd be able to, I had to send her to a new home...

After nearly 4 months she's ready! Finally! Had a nice long veg! Ended up being nearly 6' before flowering! My friend flowered her out and here is the end result... Thus naming this gal TKO, because the first time I smoked this stuff I was having a super bad anxiety attack and holy sh*t! Instantly gone! and.. I was ready for bed! She knocked me the f*** out!

Now... the smoke...
Smell: Very sweet almost like pineapple, but also a real sour skunky smell almost like a fresh ran over skunk

Taste: Very smooth smoke both out of a bong or a pipe, the taste is very candy like with almost sour apple after taste.

Effect: Instant head rush, exhaling the head rush turns into a very calming body rush! Couchlock to the max! Did wonders for both my Anxiety and Insomnia! Don't smoke this if you have anything important to do that day!

And now.... She's back! As a clone from the original! This baby is sticking around my arsenal for a while I'll tell you that much
