How could anyone be so gullible to support this guy? He is just another lying, self serving, theiving politician. It was obvious all along that he would not get the Republican nomination as nobody took him seriously, his whole candidacy was a farce. Even if he was serious which he wasn't since he didn't run as an independent, just take a look at the facts, hes another old, white, Republican from Texas. Is that what our country really needs right now? Another arrogant Republican from Texas? Hell no! Remember all of the tens of MILLIONS of dollars that Ron Pauls sheeple donated during the primaries??? Paul is a very rich man thanks to those gullible fools.

unfortunately i didn't know enough about ron paul, or any politician during the campaigns...so i can't answer that question. maybe someone else can

and that's why i didn't bother to vote

Unfortunately RP's ideas are way too far out for the status quo. While his platform appeals to me, there is no way the body politic would ever go along with him. It's really sad too because the guy has a lot of good ideas.

Clearly Ron Paul is preferable to the majority of politicians...he is NOT an attorney!
He understands the Constitution!

i feel that ron paul is way overrated as well as way under-scrutinized. however you have to form a better body of evidence than simply "texas republican".

Clearly? the why did he get a such a small amount of the vote. I liked ron paul at first but then I researched and became more aware of what I think would happen with such laissez-faire economic policys. I'm sure the banks would love there to be no federal reserve then they could do what ever they feel like. I'm sure employers would love there to be no rights for workers.

I'll go on record saying Ron Paul supporters are more informed than McCain or Obama supporters.

lmao you are not informed. Your statement "banks would love there to be no federal reserve then they could do what ever they feel like" proves that.

Why don't you explain why "laissez-faire economic policys" are bad. Better not mention the great depression and how unsuccessful our policies were in that one. Also don't mention the Federal Government getting involved with "helping" the economy and causing the housing bubble and crash.
